It had been a while since her little attempted trip to the owlery. The day had been interrupted by a snot nosed brat named Adeline Giovanni. Integra was desperately hoping that wouldn't happen this time as she stopped up the stairs in her boots and long cloak. She was sure to keep her eyes pealed on the steps as the cold air hit her face. Wouldn't want another accident like before. Though the girl was in a considerably better mood today.
Traipsing through the mud and down the path, Integra looked down at the envelope in her hand. It was still crumpled and waiting to get to her mother. Stupid dresses!! She was however very much looking forward to going with Rabastan. Now that they had talked and worked things out, everything seemed to be getting a little less stressful. Until she got to her destination.
That stinking place was always a nasty mess in her opinion. But her stupid owl had been in a few too many thunderstorms to be able to track her down anymore. Ruddy bird. No matter, the fresh air had done her good in the past, and she supposed it was alright now. It didn't take long to track down the massive great grey that perched up near the top with a disapproving glare. He let out a low sound and then swooped down in on her. He had a piece of parchment tied to his foot and Integra rolled her eyes at the sight. Another rude message from her mother no doubt.
Untying it and reattaching her own letter she swatted at the bird who squawked at her and then left. What a stupid bird. Integra looked down, unrolling the parchment in her hand and let her warm brown eyes poor over it.
I'll be in Hogsmeade next weekend and require your company. I'll be bringing your dress along with. There are matters I wish to discuss with you as well. You'll meet me at the Hog's Head at 4. Do not be late.
It was written in her father's slanting harsh pen and made her jaw clench. He couldn't so much as be bothered to make a formal letter starting with "My darling daughter" and ending with "Love, your Father." He made her so furious. With an angered eye roll, Integra turned out the door and was faced with another walking terror. Bellatrix Black. Her face level on Integra's and it made the Echoes girl want to vomit. "Bells." She ran her tongue over her teeth and crossed her arms, still holding the parchment in her cold pinching grasp.
