She was lost. Oh she was most certainly lost. Standing in the middle of the corridor on the fifth floor, Nadya hung her arms to her sides, a brown paper bag in one hand and a disapproving glare plastered on her face. She'd just come off the stairs which she did not like in the slightest, and was trying desperately to find Professor Mortelle. Why she hadn't thought to look outside was beyond her. But now she was thinking this school was too big for her to wander about aimlessly in hopes of finding him. As much as she despised Beauxbaton, her Alma Mater, she was thinking it would have been easier to find someone in it's familiar halls. Nadya, however, would never set foot in France ever again. Frankly, the entire country annoyed her with their weird food and stuffy nose accents and creepy poodles! France was different and France was not home. Italy was a little closer to what she was used to in Greece, but still different. A good kind of different though. At least they pronounced all their letters properly. And with gusto!
But this was not Beauxbaton and she was still lost. Taking a deep breath, Nadya could feel herself getting frustrated. She could also feel a very faint fluttering in her stomach and sighed as she leaned against a stone wall, and slowly slid down its surface, sitting on the floor. Getting out of the house and away from Vivian and Antoni and hell even Vicente, who didn't normally say even two words to her, was nice; but it came at a price. Now she was tired and irritated and her feet were achy and swollen. On the plus side, she had food with her. The pasta dish was supposed to be for Vincent. Antoni had made it and Nadya offered to take it to Vincent for a surprise lunch. Mostly to get her out and about for a while. But now the lunch was going to succumb to the want of the glowing expectant mother.
And boy was it good. Sitting there in the hall, Nadya pulled out the glass dish it'd been packed away in and heated it up with a giddy grin before digging around in the bag for a fork and beginning the process of stuffing her face. There was a happy little sigh as she swallowed the first few bites. And then a bell rang loud and clear through out the halls and Nadya froze. "Oh...shit..." That was the moment a herd of students started piling out of classrooms and swarming the corridor around her. "Whoa! Watch it! I'm trying to eat down here!!" With another not exactly happy sigh, Nadya rested her head against the wall and her hand on her stomach. Now she'd be even more lost.
