"I told you that would take longer. We should have just flown." Martin had somehow convinced Lisa that the train was the only means of safe travel for her. While she felt flying would have been okay and that floo wasn't quite as dangerous as apparating, Lisa eventually agreed and they were scheduled to take the Hogwarts express to the school. They were still there on time and hadn't been alone. A few of the muggle parents were aboard as well, it was always a joy to see the wonder on all of their faces. Unlike the other parents who were headed straight for the castle, Lisa and Martin were headed right for Hogsmead. The running around was tiring and Lisa really just needed a good stretch and a cup of tea before heading up.
They'd informed their children of their late arrival a few days before, having expected something of the sort might happen, and Justin had agreed to meet them at Hogsmead to walk them up at dinner time. So after checking in and changing into something more comfortable, the duo left their room and made their way to the street of the village.
It was a little extra busy and the shops were having all their big sales in lieu of Parent's Weekend. She'd definitely have to do some wandering around at some point. If she didn't tire out too quickly. Some days were worse than others but the vomiting was long gone now and the rapid weight gain had taken it's place. Lisa was pulling a scarf around her neck as she looked back into the Three Broomsticks. Martin was just coming back out with cocoas to go. "Thank you. I'm very glad you got time off work. And though I love him dearly. I'm so glad we decided not to bring Elijah." Lisa let out a laugh. Having a ten year old with them wouldn't have been that bad, but the less she had to worry about the better, and besides, the first time he saw Hogwarts should have been his first day there.
