The doors to the Great Hall shut with a resonating thud. Her blood was pumping so efficiently she could almost hear it. Fired up and certainly ready for anything she looked up into Kasch's face. He'd waited there for her and Alice was noticing he had a knack for following her places. The thrill his face brought her was apparent in her grin. Her arms went around him and she breathed him in. "I'm glad you came." But as she pulled away from him the excitement Kasch instilled in her was fading quickly. "I have have to go find him. I have to talk to him while I still have all this.... Pent up tenacity. And I have to do it alone. I know... you want to be there to support me and through this whole thing, Kasch, you've been amazing. But I have to do this myself."

It wasn't the best side of her personality, but she was hardly concerned with that right now. Coming to the spiral staircase, her feet suddenly felt like lead. Determination was the only thing pulling her to the top now. And as she threw open the door she gazed in upon the boy, staring up at the sky.
"Hey!!!" The words had forced their way out of her gut and came out in a shout. She took a breath, her eyes fixed on him for good. Joram was just as she saw him in her guilty conscience. Tall and beautiful. As his attention turned to her and his eyes met hers, Alice swallowed. "I mean....hey...
