As a Squib who deals with dark sorts of characters and magical creatures on a daily-basis, she does have to protect herself so she keeps on her a pocket-knife and a pistol. And she's not afraid to use them. Girl can never be too careful.

( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : When it was discovered she was without magic, her parents were furious. They were pure-bloods, after all. Consequently, they threw her out on the streets, and she had to make it on her own.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : Being a witch and living a happy life with the acceptance of her family.
( PERSONALITY ) : The world has made Noomi Wolfram tough. Like her namesake, she is independent, a loner, and tends to have a bit of a bite to her. As a child she was very curious, adventurous, and happy-go-lucky. While she still craves excitement and is quite the information sponge, she's much more sullen and bitchy now. There is nothing about Noomi that is especially lady-like. She has poor table manners, manners in general, is very blunt, speaks her mind, and doesn't much care about appearances. She doesn't have a whole lot of lady friends, or friends at all, actually. Her life is wholly consumed by her work, whether that's regarding her part-time employment at Hogwarts or her illegal animal breeding. Noomi is very brave but tends to look out for herself.

One of her greatest faults is her inability to have a good time. She's enormously serious, rude, and sarcastic. Consequently, she has difficulty letting loose and having fun. Most of the time she can't even appreciate a joke. She's very practical and straight-forward. She doesn't really have much of an imagination. She is, however, pretty sly and cunning, which helps considerably with her black market dealings. Noomi prefers to be on her own rather than with groups of people. She posseses a bit of a superiority complex and tends to think she's better than every one. As a result, there are few people she can actually tolerate. It's probably a good thing then that she's close friends with Vincent Mortelle; she keeps him grounded while he gets her to act her age one and a while.

( HAIR ) : Noomi wears it with it's natural textured, curly, and long, and a bit all over the place. She usually ties it back, though since much of her work is very active and hands-on.
( EYES ) : Large, dark brown doe eyes; one of her favorite features.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Noomi has a very memorable face: womanly, full lips, wide eyes, and high cheekboesn. Though she doesn't put much time or thought into her physical appearance apart from exercise, Noomi is naturally attractive.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Very tall for a woman with a classic, hourglass figure. She's very athletic and fit because of the nature of her work. She's all too determined and hard-working to let herself get lazy.
( ATTIRE ) : A very un-materialistic individual, her clothing is pretty simple. Jeans. Solid colors. Tank tops. You get the idea.

( HISTORY ) : Noomi was born into a very large family. Though her family is pure-blooded, they've remained upper middle-class. They are perfectly fine with this, however. Her mother and father always spoke, in her youth, about how hard work shapes one's character. Both of her parents are high-ranking officials in the Ministry of Magic and are involved in numerous community projects in the wizarding world.

When Noomi was born, her parents had no reason to believe that she would be any different than the rest of them. They had every intention of sending her to Hogwarts, preferably Slytherin. Her older brother was proving to be quite the promising wizard, and they had no doubt about her own capabilities. However, when Kaz, her younger brother, began showing early displays of magic, they began to grow concerned for her. When she reached the age of ten, it became clear to her parents that she was a Squib, the first in their pure-blooded line. They remained in quiet denial, though. When she didn't receive her Hogwarts letter, she was kicked out of her house, no questions asked. The Ramsay family couldn't tolerate such an abomination in their house.

She hasn't spoken to her family since. In a need to make money, she became involved in illegal animal breeding/dealing. An adventurer, she's traveled all over the world, has lived among vampires, werewolves, and fully believes all of these experiences have made her a stronger individual.

This is her first year as an employee of Hogwarts, and it is only part-time, mostly just whenever the Care of Magical Creatures professor requires an extra set of hands. She loves her job and what she does; she feels it brings her as close as possible to the life she should've had, and in a way, to her family. Despite what they did to her, she still cares about them deeply. She didin't meet her youngest sister until this year, and the other sister she'd only seen when she was a baby. Neither of them know that Noomi is their sister, as their parents have told them that Noomi is dead/Noomi changed her name. She has no intention of telling her sisters the truth.
