( PERSONALITY ) : Tom Marvolo Riddle is a very determined individual who has set his sights out to prove himself as the world’s most powerful wizard. He is a very intense individual who intimidates most if not all of his students, including the ones in his own house. However, Professor Riddle’s magical ability cannot be denied or argued as he is without question the most talented of all the professors, some even dare say that he could rival Dumbledore.

Professor Riddle does not take time to help out any student, and treats all students as if they are below him with the exception of a very select few Slytherins who have a strange, almost cult-like bond with Professor Riddle.

( HISTORY ) : Tom Marvolo Riddle (31 December, 1926[9] – 2 May, 1998), later known as Lord Voldemort, was a half-blood wizard and considered to be the most powerful Dark Wizard of all time. He was the son of wealthy Muggle Tom Riddle Sr., and witch Merope Gaunt, who died shortly after childbirth. Tom Riddle Sr. left his wife soon after she became pregnant with their son, having been released from the enchantment of a love potion which had started their relationship. Their son, Tom Marvolo Riddle, was born and raised in a Muggle orphanage, but eventually attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (1938-1945) and was sorted into Slytherin house. Tom Riddle was the most talented pupil to ever attend Hogwarts. To the school at large he appeared to be an exceedingly handsome and polite child. In reality, however, Riddle was cruel, arrogant, sadistic, manipulative, sociopathic and megalomaniacal. Having achieved outstanding grades in every examination he took, Riddle left Hogwarts and went on to a brief employment at Borgin and Burkes, before disappearing from public view completely.

Having embraced the Dark Arts he encountered in his travels, the former Tom Riddle, now known exclusively as Lord Voldemort, raised an enormous army comprised of followers he recruited both at school and afterwards, as well as many dark creatures. This army, known as the Death Eaters, began a campaign of terror and violence never before seen in Britain.

Tom Riddle then shocked most people by leaving his faithful army of Death Eaters and taking the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts school. There were various rumors surrounding him taking the position and assumptions as to why he would just denounce his dark ways like he did, although none of them have panned out quite yet or been able to have been proven.

Zeke gawked at the hufflepuff and her audacity to snap back at him like that. Who did this stupid badger think she was? Didn’t she know who she was talking to? But, Zeke figured that’s what you get when you’ve been raised in a sub-par household like most of the Hufflepuffs. They were just a bunch of misfits anyway, for crying out loud their house founder had just agreed to take the leftover students that the other three houses didn’t want. “Of course you wouldn’t know about quidditch.” Zeke snapped back rudely before stopping to realize that she was probably right and that she had been here before him. He would have heard someone walk in, and she couldn’t have gotten over there that quickly.

Zeke dropped his head slightly and shook it before looking back up at the hufflepuff. “I’m sorry, it’s been kind of a stressful past couple of weeks. That was rude of me.” Zeke wasn’t typically one to apologize, especially not to hufflepuffs but, he could admit when he was wrong. He remembered his grandfather telling him once that the difference between a man and a fool was that the man could see and admit his mistakes whereas the fool couldn’t see them. “It’s a simple game to understand really. Would you care for me to explain it to you?”

He peered over at her parchment and smiled as he slightly shook his head, “Trans?” he asked curiously, it was after all his favorite subject. Mainly because he was such a natural at it, but he truly enjoyed making something out of something else, it was fascinating to him and it was magic in its rawest state. “You know, all you really have to do is mention the technique required to be an ani-magi and talk about the extreme skill it takes and McGonagal with give you an ‘O’ on your paper. It makes her head go up a hat-size, but it’s the easiest way to get a good grade.” Zeke offered his advice as some form of an olive branch, trying to show that he wasn’t a complete tool all the time like his reputation would lead people to believe.
