(PERSONALITY) : Siobhan Eva Cassel is the sort of girl that needs an applause to live, is frequent to make dramatic exits, and tends to speak in perpetual monologue.

An aspiring actress, there is no one quite more melodramatic and charming than she. Siobhan is drawn to glamour and grandeur, desperately wishing to leave dull, old England and travel elsewhere across Europe, particularly France. She has a distinct vision of herself drinking red wine in a clean, studio flat, eating cubed cheese, and sitting in front of a silver vanity table whilst brushing her hair (the whole flat smells like Chanel No. 5, of course). She’s fairly certain that everyone in England is ‘beneath her’ and all the exciting, interesting people are beyond, elsewhere.

Siobhan’s feelings regarding love are pretty similar. Her role models include Marie Antoinette, Cleopatra, and Aphrodite: daring and impossibly beautiful women who made men succumb to their knees. Siobhan longs for nothing more than this same, all-consuming magnetism. Consequently, Siobhan isn’t a particularly romantic sort. She doesn’t yearn for the two kids and white picket fence. Rather, she wishes to have scores of sensual, glamorous lovers that will make her feel eternally young and wanted.

Charismatic, Siobhan is naturally capable of drawing people to her. She possess a certain amount of charm and appeal seemingly lacking in other people. However, Siobhan isn’t a particularly nice person. Though she is bubby and friendly, there is usually a judgmental undertone to about everything she says and is prone toward backhanded compliments, “Oh I didn’t recognize you; you look nice today!” Unfortunately, Siobhan isn’t very clever and so is often limited to a specific, predictable kind of bitchiness.

Her bitchiness comes out especially when with other women. Since she desires nothing more than the love and admiration of men, she views women other than herself as competition and is quick to make them feel inferior in any way possible - with a snide comment, psyching them out, bragging about her achievements, etc.

Sadly, Siobhan behaves this way even with her own sister, Waverly. Siobhan dreads the day her younger sister will inevitably discard the piercings and leather jacket (because who wants to wear that trash, honestly?) and rise to the pedestal as the beautiful Cassel sister. In a desperate attempt to combat this, Siobhan devotes much of her time to putting Waverly down and making her feel inadequate.

It’s not that Siobhan is cruel, exactly. She does love her sister, but is often forgetful of this by her own jealousy and insecurities. Siobhan is just immature. She still behaves as if she were the six year old who believes they should be the center of attention, always.

On a final note, Siobhan is very nosy and gossip-y. Can also be snippy and defensive when corrected or made embarrassed. Lastly, tends to lie about the fact that she’s half-blood, though everyone knows perfectly well that Siobhan is not, in fact, a pureblood.

( HAIR ) : Siobhan’s hair is her pride and joy. Naturally red and thick, she wears is long and usually down. She’s fond of simple yet elegant styles like braided chignons, loose buns, gentle curls, and so forth. Though her hairstyle often appears effortless, Siobhan goes through quite the elaborate beauty routine that is too long and in-depth to describe here.
( EYES ) : Affable, honey-brown eyes.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : For starters, Siobhan hates her freckles. They’re basically brown pimples impeding her otherwise flawless face. She’s still searching for the perfect spell to get rid of this infraction. Otherwise, Siobhan is quite pleased with herself (‘pleased’ being the understatement of the century, of course). Possessing full lips, a dainty nose, expertly tweezed eyebrows, and pronounced cheeks bones, Siobhan is quite the beauty.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Tall. Slim. Leggy. Basically she kills the self-esteem of other girls the moment she steps into the room. Deal with it.
( ATTIRE ) : Aside from her school robes, Siobhan’s taste is one of classy elegance, with just a hint of Parisian bourgeois. She loves wearing pastels and especially white. Loves silk. And lace. Usually wears skirts and dresses; pants are too man-ish.

She is the beautiful Cassel sister, and would like to stay that way, thank you.

( HISTORY ) : Siobhan and Waverly come from an unconventional sort of parents, to say the least. For starters, their father is a Muggle, and their mother is a pure-blooded witch. Thomas Cassel, an eccentric, humorous, but loving man was investigating the paranormal (which is simply a euphemism for ghost-hunter) in London when he met Amelia. Rational, cool-headed, and classy, Amelia was essentially everything that Thomas wasn’t, and they made quite the pair. Imagine how ecstatic he was when he found out the girl he fancied was in fact, a witch. And imagine how irate her parents were when they met the buffoonish, Muggle she had chosen to marry. Needless to say, Waverly and Siobhan have never met these mysterious grandparents of theirs.

From the beginning, Siobhan was a self-centered, spoiled girl. She was charming and talented, of course, but her dramatic tendencies couldn’t be denied. She and Waverly had never been very close, even when they were young. When Siobhan was ten and Waverly was eight, Siobhan snuck into her room in the middle of the night and cut off Waverly’s hair because her hair was too much like her own and insisted that her younger sister was ‘copying’ her.

Their relationship to this day is still very complicated. Siobhan continues to belittle and make a mess of Waverly’s life. Meanwhile, Waverly continues to find some hope in Siobhan’s empty promises and guilty, admires her sister’s confidence and normalcy.
