(PERSONALITY) : Waverly isn’t your typical Hufflepuff, to be sure. One look at her, her facial piercings and dyed black hair, and one would assume that she belonged to Slytherin. Despite her evident peculiarities, however, there are many facets of Waverly that are perfectly representational of the Hufflepuff ideals. She possesses a very strong moral code, perhaps even to a fault, and is probably one of the most defining aspect of her character. Devoted to her beliefs, Waverly is a very inclusive person. She fully supports the integration of all witches and wizards, regardless of blood purity. She hates to see any sort of group suffering oppression or being denied rights.

Though she doesn’t initially seem it, Waverly is very compassionate and loving. She doesn’t extend these feelings to just anyone, of course, but when she does, she does so whole-heartedly. She’s fiercely protective of those she cares about and does her best to remain loyal. Even after all of her sister’s immaturity and hatefulness, Waverly still cares for her deeply and even puts her on a pedestal.

Romantically-speaking, Waverly is a bit of an oddball. Like her sister, Waverly is more lustful than she is romantic. But unlike her sister, Waverly doesn’t use love and sex as means to make herself feel better about herself. Although never exclusive with just one person, Waverly is always honest, and up-front about her intentions (or lack, thereof). She does care about the people she becomes involved with, but Waverly isn’t the type to necessarily ‘let them in’ all the way or even see them continuously.

From the onset of early adolescence, Waverly has always been an introvert. Whether this is due to her upbringing in a household with a sibling she could little relate to, or simply a natural product of genetics, Waverly isn't sure. But throughout her school years at Hogwarts, she has successfully made herself a perpetual yet comfortable recluse. Her withdrawn nature is so extreme that she frequently finds herself feeling physically and mentally exhausted by the company of others, as if the presence of people literally drains the life out of her. She felt this even at a young age. She would be with her vain sister Siobhan, trying desperately to gain her affections, but feel reduced to shambles. It was only when she dismissed herself and receded into the quiet solace of her room that she could, <i>recharge</i>, in a sense.

This attribute has severely affected her relationships. She is incredibly slow to make friends, largely due to the fact that she has difficulty opening herself up and relating to other people. Social engagements are always pain-staking for her. They’re boring and she frequently finds herself getting lost in her head rather than paying attention to the situation at hand. The harassment she receives from her older sister has also hindered her ability to make friends.

One of Waverly’s best qualities – albeit a testament to her tendency to go unacknowledged– is her observant nature. She is incredibly attentive of other people, though they are generally unaware of her. As a result, she has a thousand insignificant details about others stored in the vast library of her brain, whether she’s been formally introduced to them or not. Her constant watchfulness of other people has inevitably made her, over the years, very perceptive.

( HAIR ) : Though her hair is naturally red like her sister’s, Waverly dyes her hair black, cuts it in short, jagged layers, and styles it in a very disarrayed fashion.
( EYES ) : Large, green eyes, with thin, arched eyebrows and thick eyelashes.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Although her sister is the one people admired as the beautiful of the two, Waverly is just as, if not more so, attractive as her sister. She possess very delicate, almost child-like features: narrow, thin mouth, large eyes, and defined bone structure. She has several piercings, particularly one eyebrow piercing, a lip ring, a nose stud, and multiple piercings (including an industrial) on her ears.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Unlike most girls, who begin to fill out and develop into curvy, semi-Grecian archetypes upon puberty, Waverly remained slim and slight. She grew little in weight and muscle, and certainly not in height. While not short, she remained of average stature, her shoulders narrow and her chest flat. She retained the long limbs and lankiness of girlhood, defined especially by her thin frame and long, almost graceful neck. She remained in a perpetual state of abnormality with her thinness and too-pale complexion.
( ATTIRE ) : As typical of the first wave of Punk, Waverly has a very DIY approach to fashion. Slashed, black skinny jeans, second-hand combat boots, and leather jackets held together my safety pins and duct tape.

She understands her sister’s need to be the conventional, pretty one, and abides by this.
