( NICKNAMES ) : Bella and Trixie; Her little sisters were unable to say her full name when they were younger, so they split it into to. Narcissa called her Bella and Andromeda called her Trixie. Bellatrix finds them rather annoying and refuses to answer to them in public places.

( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : The day that she accidentally got lost in King's Cross Station. She was surrounded by muggles and nearly had a panic attack. Her parents managed to find her an hour later, but by that point, she was curled into a ball near one of the large pillars in the station.

( PERSONALITY ) : Bellatrix is highly intelligent, but can be easily distracted, and has a fierce and dangerous temper. Once she becomes involved with something, be it school work, Quidditch, or other people’s business, she is slavishly devoted to finding a solution to the problem. She cares deeply about her appearance and can be seen as extremely narcissistic and vain. She loves when other people look at her...as long as they don’t look at her for too long. She can also be seen as increasing arrogant as time goes on; she loves boasting about her accomplishments to anyone who will listen. She takes immense pride in the fact that she is a Pure-Blood and still believes in the aristocracy of blood purity. She hates all those who are “blood-traitors,” be them half-bloods, muggle-borns, or even muggles themselves.

She is a natural born leader and not afraid to take charge in a situation, even if it’s a sticky or dangerous one, if no one else seems to be making an effort. Bellatrix is also very decisive and knows exactly what she wants and how she is going to get it. She’s not afraid to put herself out there for others to judge because, quite frankly, she cares very little about everyone else’s opinions. She is often ruthless and unrelenting when it comes to getting what she wants.

Beneath all this hard and dangerous exterior, Bellatrix is not all bad. She has caring feelings that run too deep for people to see. She cares deeply for her younger sister Narcissa and is capable of deeper affection, however, she believes that you have to earn this affection. She didn’t marry for love, so her relationships with her husband is tiresome and a sore point for her...every time someone brings him up, she reacts badly.

( HAIR ) : Bellatrix has longer, shiny black hair that is normally in unmanageable curls. She would like to have longer hair, but as soon as it gets too long, it becomes even more wild and ridiculous, so she cuts it short to avoid the hassle. She has tried to tame her hair before but after breaking two hair brushes and her mother’s favorite comb, she decided that her hair seems to have a mind of it’s own.
( EYES ) : Trix has bright green eyes that often attract a lot of attention because of their vibrance. She has hooded lids--which normally accompany age--but in her case a tiny fold of skin covers her socket line, giving her a much older look. She has long, dark eyelashes, probably the only feature of her face that gives her any type of feminine appeal.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Bellatrix’s nose is slightly turned up and button-shaped, like a small child’s nose might be. She has high set cheekbones, characteristic of the Black Family tree and she tends to accent her cheekbones by choosing blush that might be a little too dark for her skin-tone. She has a strong, almost masculine, jawline, giving her an air of power.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Bella is tall, reaching around 5’9”, and semi-muscular around her arms. She carries her body with a very erect posture, always trying to appear superior to everyone else. It is only around her very close friends and family that she lets her posture down a little and often slumps.
( ATTIRE ) : Bellatrix loves wearing flowing skirts, lace, and leather. Any mixture of the three will do.

( HISTORY ) :On February 12th, Bellatrix was born to Cygnus and Druella Black, a family who raised her to prize her pure-blood heritage and never settle for anything less. She grew up never wanting for anything because her family had such a lavish lifestyle. They were basking in the Old Money of the Black Family Tree and Bellatrix always got the best of the best. She was the eldest sister of the Black Family, following closely in front of her two sister, Narcissa and Andromeda. Growing up, she spent much of her free time reading the books that had accumulated around the Black Household. She loved learning about the Wizarding world and her favorite books were those that mentioned the Hogwarts Founders. She made her mother tell her that story all the time.

From a very young age, her hatred of all things Muggle related was instilled in her by her parents and other family members. She believes fiercely in blood superiority. So when she received her Hogwarts letter at age 11, she was already well aware of which house she wanted to be placed in. Slytherin. She felt like she had been bred for that House and would do it proud. And, of course, that's exactly where she landed herself. Slytherin. The next few years at Hogwarts were the best of her life. She excelled in her classes and at the beginning of her Fifth Year, she became a Prefect. She had done everything in her power to make sure that she was successful.
