• Fearless –Rodolphus is incredibly adventurous, to the point that he hardly has any concern for his own personal safety.
  
• Easy-going – For all his purist, sanctimonious beliefs, Rodolphus is actually quite easy to talk to. Even though everything he says is usually an insult.
  
• Athletic – As a Chaser for the Slytherin Quidditch team, it can be expected that he is in-shape.

• Lazy – Unlike most Slytherins, Rodolphus isn’t particularly ambitious. He’s perfectly content to mooch off the family wealth.

( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : When during a Quidditch match against Gryffindor, Rodolphus took a bludger to the arm and fell off his broom for everyone to see. He was in the Hospital Wing for several days; it was easily the most humiliating moment of his life.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : Achieving world-wide notoriety with little to no effort.
(PERSONALITY) : At his core, Rodolphus is conceited – unequivocally. He acts as though he is of greater important than those around him. Truthfully, Rod isn’t really extraordinary, especially in comparison to his classmates. He is attractive, but not more so than others. He is fairly intelligent, but Ravenclaws certainly aren’t shaking in their boots. However, he presents himself otherwise – that is, an exceptional wizard, deserving of respect and awe. Rodolphus craves attention and needs to know that people admire him in one way or another. This goes a bit deeper than rich-brat-syndrome, however.

Rod is incredibly narcissistic, but this isn’t to be confused with simple vanity. Psychologically, Rod has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and can be seen through a variety of his traits – he has trouble sustaining satisfying and lasting relationships, is indifferent to the plight of others and has difficulty with empathy, is overly sensitive to any insults, has haughty body language, is unable to view the world from the perspective of others, incredibly possessive, belittles others in order to validate his own self-worth, uses other people without consideration or without thinking about the consequences, and exaggerates his personal achievements.

Similarly, Rod is also prone to pettiness. He’s the sort of person that will childishly act out if he doesn’t get what he wants. His goals are purely selfish and often of insignificant importance in the grand scheme of things. He will exploit people to his own advantage

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that he is also a lustful, womanizer. He collects conquests and treasures them like trophies, and he will never commit to any of them. Even in all of his relationships – the word ‘relationship,’ perhaps a bit of an overstatement – Rodolphus has never found anyone he really cares about. The only person he truly loves is himself.

Rodolphus is betrothed to Bellatrix Black and engages in numerous entanglements with other women, but this is more of in an effort to possess and control everything and everyone around him rather than sexual want or emotional affection. It’s not quite asexuality because he does have a sex drive, but it’s similar. Moreover, because he simply lusts after women with no long-term motivations, Rodolphus has failed to learn to appreciate and respect women. He is incredibly sexist, a misogynistic pig, to put it frankly. Women should consider themselves lucky to be with him. He is doing them a great honor. To him, women aren’t good for many things. He finds them to be a hindrance most of the time, unless they’re in his bed. If a woman beats him in sport, or dueling, in academics, et cetera, it’s a mere fluke or the product of bias. It’s never a reflection on him.

Rod isn’t entirely aware of this yet, but he is quite sadistic. He hasn’t really had the opportunity to explore this part of himself. However, there are small hints of his sadism. He takes an unhealthy amount of pleasure in causing someone misery or humiliation (particularly women), can be overly assertive, and has been verbally and violently assaulted people in the part (usually as a part of Slytherin bullying, but he just ‘takes it too far’ so to speak).

Though it may not seem it, Rod really does have quite a few good qualities. For one, he is very charismatic and brazen. He is outgoing and loves to be a part of everything. An extrovert, he feeds off other people’s energy and feels more alive when he’s in the company of others. He can’t stand being alone.

As a part of his lively personality, Rodolphus also craves adventure. Of course, his definition of adventure mostly involves bedding lots of women, drinking till four in the afternoon, and one day happening to stumble upon buried treasure by sheer luck. Hard-working is not a word that suits him. And saving damsels in distress just sounds kind of boring.

Though he’s a blood-purist, sexist, prejudiced, and a bunch of other horrible things, Rod is pretty good at making conversation with just about anyone. This doesn’t mean he’ll be nice, though. Anyone can be a punch-line in his opinion, especially considering his idea of ‘conversation’ is a few nods and a plethora of sarcastic witticisms. He’s actually surprisingly charming in spite of his rudeness.

( HAIR ) : Thick, dark brown hair that is beyond much feasible control. Since he doesn't really have the patience for hair gel, he mostly sports his hair in a careless, disheveled fashion.
( EYES ) : Narrow, green-blue eyes, with thick eyebrows and thick eyelashes.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Naturally very attractive, it's no wonder why Rodolphus's appearance is one of his strongest assets. He possesses very memorable features, particularly his smile (which is really more of a smirk), pronounced, high cheekbones and defined jaw line. Thin lips.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Tall, muscular, but lean. Just over six feet, about 170 pounds.
( ATTIRE ) : When not in his school robes, Rodolphus has a prett classic sense of styles. Tasteful slacks, button-down dress shirts, oxford loafers, neutral tones, et cetera.

( HISTORY ) : Rodolphus has mommy issues. Let’s leave it at that for now.

To begin with, Rodolphus had a seemingly normal upbringing, or at least as normal an upbringing could be for a wealthy, pure-blooded, wizarding family. He had his silver platters, his serving house-elves, every luxury and confinement. He learned early on the plague of Muggles and the soiling of pure, wizard blood. It was only natural then, that his parents’ teaching would lead to a conditioned prejudice .

He had a younger brother, whom he loved, despite the annoyances that younger siblings can cause. Throughout their early adolescent years, they were incredibly close.
Overall, he was raised with faulty principles with every conceivable want at his fingertips.

In spite of this outwardly privileged childhood, Rodolphus has experienced some misfortunes. During his fifth year at Hogwarts in Divination, the professor was giving him a palm reading. She said that the message was unclear, but that his soul was fragmented.

Though the professor didn’t know, she read this from his palm because Rodolphus was molested several times throughout his early childhood, by his mother , Lyra.

These memories of his, however, are very much repressed. Though they have obviously shaped his outlook on life and his overall personality, it is not a part of himself that he has faced. Consequently, he has gone through his years at Hogwarts in a kind of ignorance. It is presently unclear if these memories will ever surface or how Rodolphus would react.

Now he is in his final year at Hogwarts, dreading the day he must marry Bellatrix, and trying to bed as many willing girls as he possibly can until then.
