( PERSONALITY ) : Vicky is a very smiley, happy-go-lucky girl, who is very gentle and friendly to everyone. She's a great singer, and she sings out wherever she is; this means she's very brave/confident/bold, and she'll do anything. Vicky has a sassy attitude, and always has an argument in her mouth ready for using. She's stubborn, and smart where it matters, but she tries not to be scary. Vicky is mostly warm and bubbly, but she knows when to back off and leave people be. She's a very strong girl who has put up with a lot.

Vicky has a flaring temper, which often makes people unnerved, because she can explode at absolutely any time if you annoy her. She's rather sensitive, and you can upset her easily. Vicky is a troublemaker deep down, and if you upset her or somebody she deeply cares about, she will get revenge, even if it's discreetly. However, in general she's a very helpful and kind person, willing to do anything from helping a friend to getting somebody out of a tight spot, because Vicky's one of the nicer people in Hogwarts. She's also kind of modest, and even if she will take a compliment, she sort of thinks down on herself. Vicky is very optimistic.

( HAIR ) : Vicky's hair is to her shoulders, and she dyed it red (like velvet cupcakes) when she was 4 years old, and it's stayed like that all this time. Usually Vicky wears her hair long, sometimes straightened and sometimes curled, but she does tie it up if it's getting in the way.
( EYES ) : Vicky's eyes are brown and oval-shaped. Unfortunately, they give away her feelings easily, so it's obvious what her emotions are. These eyes are sort of 'all seeing' meaning that Vicky notices when something is happening.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Vicky has a 'cute' little nose, and a kind of round face. Her skin is clear of freckles and spots so far. Vicky's eyelashes are slightly longer than average, but not that noticeable unless you are up close...too close.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Vicky has an athletic build because she's always walking, running about, getting exercise even though she doesn't notice it. She weighs around 113 lbs, and she stands neatly at 5`1.
( ATTIRE ) : Vicky can be seen wearing her school robes during the school hours (with classes) and the rest of the time she has a glam/punk rock/tomboy look all mixed together. She will wear a skirt with leggings, trainers and a rocking tee, or she will wear jeans and flats and a pretty t-shirt. It varies.

( PARENTS ) : Jack Grant, father, 58, works at the Ministry, pureblood, likes the dark side better than the light, re-married to Sasha.
Marie Grant, mother, would have been 51, deceased, former singer, muggle-born.
Sasha Grant nee Tyler, stepmom, 49, doesn't work, also likes the dark side.
( SIBLINGS ) : Jamie, stepbrother, 9, not at Hogwarts yet.
( OTHERS ) : None.
( HISTORY ) :Vicky's life isn't something that the girl is proud of. She was raised by her mother on her own up until age 7, where she learned to look after herself while her mother worked hard on her songs, and while Vicky's father was out drinking all the time, having an affair with Sasha, Vicky would later find out. Her mother got cancer and battled with it from when Vicky was 10 until when she was 11, when her mother passed away. However, she lived long enough to see Vicky get her Hogwarts letter. Vicky's mother, having been to Hogwarts, managed to tell her daughter how much she loved her and how proud she was, before she passed away. Then, Vicky's father let Sasha move in and he didn't pay much attention to Vicky. When Vicky asked to go to London with them, he slapped her face, knocking her down, so Vicky went alone.

Now, she's been hiding out at Hogwarts, and always dreading the summer holidays, where she has no choice but to go home. Vicky has slowly got stronger and braver as she got to 14, and now she just acts like she doesn't care, though sometimes when she returns after the summer, there are bruises all over her face...Vicky doesn't mention her past, but she doesn't really have friends anyway, because she doesn't honestly care about being popular, and boys, and all the stuff that they like, which makes them think she's weird.

Vicky likes her life at the moment, however, and is working hard on making new friends, like the ones she had in 1st and 2nd year, before they changed.

Vicky hopped out of the train, very happily. She couldn't believe that, at last, the horrible summer was over, and she was back at the place where she thought she really, really belonged. Hogwarts. She was led along with the other 4th years, and she was excited to get there. Vicky realized she was actually really hungry for Great Hall food.

As soon as they entered the Great Hall and sat down, vicky made sure she had a good seat; she heard a boy sit down next to her and she turned her head slightly, giving him a wry smile before the speech started. In the middle, she heard the boy yawn and he poked her shoulder. She turned around and he smiled, speaking. "This speech is so boring, isn't it? We don't need this every day, do we?" he asked. Vicky giggled, but quietly enough so none of the teachers could hear.

As soon as the food appeared and the speech finished, Vicky tucked in enthusiastically, as did the boy next to her. However, he was now too occupied with the girl opposite him and the boy next to him. Vicky's smile fell as she turned to talk to him and saw that. She began to eat, slightly slower this time, disappointed that she lost the chance of making a friend.

Vicky got up and left the Great Hall with the others, later. She changed into her PJs in her dorm and she lay in her bed. The other girls greeted each other, said goodnight and the lights went out, while Vicky just lay there, making up a plan for getting friends this year...she concocted a plan and then slowly fell into a deep and well-deserved sleep.
