[/justify]”Can I please just have five more minutes-” Jack mumbled into the alarm clock that was sounding off like a rooster. He wasn’t sure that he could take much more of it...but he was too lazy to reach over and turn it off. Jack Campbell hated getting up early, but he knew that today was a very special day. It was the day that he had planned on taking pictures of the sunrise. But - judging from the gloomy cloud that he could see outside of the Gryffindor Tower window - he wasn’t going to get very much shooting done this morning. But he knew that he couldn’t go back to sleep...he didn’t have that luxury of ability. Finally, after five minutes of listening to it blare into his ear, Jack managed to hit the button on the top of the contraption, ”Bloody muggle inventions.” His dad had made him take the alarm to school with him, but refused to tell him out to turn it off so that it didn’t happen every morning...he supposed that was fair enough punishment for the marks that he had been receiving at school lately. Slowly, Jack managed to sit up in bed. He rubbed his head, feeling the dull headache that was still there. ‘That would be the remnants of your drinking habits, Jackie,’ He reminded himself as he leaned over and hung his head. It was going to be a long day...that much was for certain.
Slowly, he got up out of bed and straightened his pajama bottoms. He picked up a t-shirt that was hanging on his bed post and threw it over his shoulder, not bothering to put it on. There would be time for that later. He crossed into the lavatory and gave his teeth a brush and then ran his hands through his hair, making sure that it was sufficiently messed up and tossed. He hated when it was too stiff, made him feel as if he couldn’t be himself. He pulled the shirt over his head and then proceeded to mess his hair up yet again; sure that it wasn’t perfect if it had moved but an inch.
After deciding that he looked relatively decent, Jack meandered down the stairs to the main part of the common room. No one was up yet - which didn’t surprise him considering that it was only a little past six am. Jack yawned slightly as he finished his decent down the stair case and then pulled a blanket off of the chair that was nearby. He moved toward the sofa that was in front of the fire and plopped down, wrapping himself in the blanket and putting his feet up, ”So much for getting out this morning, Campbell.” He rolled his eyes at himself, knowing better than to have planned something in advance. It never worked out for him. As Jack sat there, he began dozing off and before he knew it, his eyes were closing and he was drifting off into dream-land.
