Too Late { open }

Sam simply sat there for a while, her mind getting completely clear. Sam really liked that feeling. This was the time that she could just forget about pretty much everything that was happening in her life, and in her mother, and brothers life. That was one of the reasons that Sam liked to be in her dog form so much. It was almost like being on her broom-stick, it was a place that she could be free of pretty much everything that turned her whole life upside down and sideways, and just pretty much shook her every way imaginable.

Hello. Is someone there?

At the sound of a voice, Sam's ears perked up. Her long, fluffy tail twitched as she looked around and over at a figure. Before, Sam had neglected to even look around. Maybe, if she stayed in her dog form, he wouldn't think anything of it. After all, Sam just looked like a plain old black shepherd dog. All that Sam did was give a bark, looking straight at the boy who layed there, in the grass in front of Sam. Standing up, Sam took a step closer to him, trying to see if she could get a whiff of who it may be. Maybe she could figure out who it was.

The tip of her tail twitched, her same brown eyes gazing at the boy. Her eyes seemed to be glowing in the night as she gazed questioningly at him. Sam was still wracking her brain to try and find out who the sent belonged to. It seemed vaugley farmiliar, yet Sam still didn't know who it was. Tilting het head to the side, Sam took one more step closer to him, trying to find what his face looked like in the darkness. Maybe if she could get a closer look, she could see who he really was.

Sam noticed that the guy held out his wand. She was thinking about turning back into a human, turning herself back into a girl. But what fun would that be? If she turned back into a human, Sam would begin to feel as if she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. That was why she was not going to do that. Sam was going to stay in this form as long ad she could, and as long as she felt that she could be free. Tonight was her night of freedom. And Sam wasn't going to have that stop. Maybe she could still find out who this guy was withought being a human again.

The thing about turning into a dog, was that her curiosity grew. She didn't know why, but many things seemed modified, her compassion, want to do what's best for her family and friends. Then there was the fact she was even mire brave then normal. Not to mention her senses. Taking a few steps closer, Sam wined and roled over. Maybe he wouldn't think if her as a threat then. Plus, Sam really liked doing that. For some reason, Sam though it was fun.

Sam would just manage to see the tip of the wand giving of a slight glow from the tip. Her head tilting to one side slightly. She was waiting to see what he would do. She didn't want him to hex her or anything. In this form, Sam was a lot more vulnerable then she was when she was human. But as long as he did nothing to make her have to use the wand, that was connected with her human body, and she could reach it withought being in her human form. So, hopefully, things wouldn't go south, they would stay just how they where, level.

Hello?

At the sight of the wand being dropped to the guys side, and a voice sounding, Sam hesitated to get closer. He seemed to have relaxed, but he could still get spooked. But with a sudden surge of courage, Sam padded up to him. She stopped around five feet away. This may be a little too close for his comfort. Sam almost didn't move closer, but Sam did, and padded up until she was only a foot or two away, abs looked up into his face. Maybe she was close enough where she could see what he looked like, and figure out who he even was.

Well at least you're not a werewolf huh?

Sam gave a small bark, as if to laugh at this. She could understand how he wouldn't want to run into a werewolf at this time of night. But as she gazed up, Sam realized that that it wasn't a full moon. Had he realized that? Probably not, since he had orginally thought that she was a werewolf. Mostly because he had just said that. The thing was, he probably didn't even know that she was really a human. An animagus really. But still, she had the brain compasity of a human, and understood him perfectly.

Luckily you have no idea what I am saying or you would realize how dumb my fear of a werewolf would be.

At that very moment, Sam wanted to turn back into a human. She wondered what he would do. Would it scare him? Or what. Though it would be ironic, since she really could could understand what he was saying. And yes she understood just how, well not stupid exactly, fear of werewolves was. Maybe in a few moments she would do that. But now, she gave another bark and held her paw out, shaking it, and putting it back down.

But the urge to turn back into a human was just too tempting. Sam couldn't help herself and turned back into her dark haired, semi-pale skinned self. It really odd to be back to her old self.

As she watched him fall back, Sam wanted to laugh, she wanted to laugh terribly. But she held it in. Mostly for the guys sake. He had already hut his head really hard, and didn't want to sound awful. But honestly, his reaction was priceless. It may have been one of the funniest things that she had ever seem. Aside from one other thing, but that was mire disturbing then it was funny really. It was when she had walked in on her step father while he was taking a shower, and she caught him singing some song it extremely high notes. After that she couldn't look at him the same way.

Either you are a terrible person or I really hit my head hard.

Sam gave a small smile, and a little chuckle in spite of herself. "You just hit your head really hard." Sam said in a joking matter. She didn't want to sound mean after she had just made him hit his head. So to seem a little nicer, Sam held out her hand in front of him, offering to help him off his butt. "By the way, I do understand what your saying," she said again with another small laugh.

Luckily, Sam got a few hard laughs out when he was laughing hysterically. Good thing too, because with ought laughing at him like that, she wouldn't have been able to manage. But she stopped quickly as he did so he wouldn't realize that she had just done that. Because she had already knocked him over on his ass, and didn't want to seem even meaner then she probably already did. She would have probably sounded like a Slytherin. And that was not going to fly with Sam, she hated Slytherin almost as much as dogs hated cats, and she could understand that perfectly.

Sam gave a nod "Ah, okay, that conversation naves happened," she said, with a smile and another small laugh. This guy seemed great, and funny, as far as Sam could tell. "Well, Mikael Erixon, I'm Samantha DeLinco, but you can just call me Sam, and sorry about knocking you down on your ass." Even if she probably didn't need to tell him sorry, and he probably already understood that she was, Sam felt like she had to, just to make sure she didn't sound like a Slytherinas she would die if she did.
