No matter what time of year, Saturdays were by far Caitlin's favorite days. Especially since they were followed by a Sunday. Which meant that there was nothing the girl had to do. Nothing except what ever the hell she felt like doing. Initially the day started with sleeping until almost 10 in the morning. Of course she missed breakfast, but she'd be up for lunch. She was always up for lunch. Unfortunately, her plans for the day didn't venture any farther than pajamas. Not that it was a bad thing, just now that she was awake, Caitlin was bored and needed a snack.
Still somewhat reluctant, the girl rolled lazily out of her bed, kicked open her trunk and scrounged around for her jeans and sneakers. Once those were in their right positions on her body, she ran her hand through her messy hair and surveyed her t-shirt. It was just an old plain shirt. "Nah not feeling it." Bending into her trunk (which almost consumed her as she did) Caitlin retrieved an old Iggy Pop t-shirt and yanked it on over her head. Moving the shirt revealed a floppy red knit hat and long grey scarf.
Her entire attitude was half hearted today. She had the whole word to herself and was just not into it. Maybe she was just groggy. Yeah that had to be it, Caitlin was sure to perk up soon. No matter what mood though, she was sure she wanted to spend the day outside. Shrugging her shoulders into her sweatshirt and layering a leather jacket over that, Caitlin finally made her way out of the Hufflepuff common room and down to the kitchens.
"Oi!!" Sticking her head inside she nodded at a floppy eared elf with a jutting crooked tooth. "You think I could just get a cup of that coffee???" When the little elf protested Caitlin puffed out her bottom lip, and he obliged with a sigh. One long gulp was all that she needed to down the cup and she handed the cup back to him with a smile and bounced off.
It wasn't a long walk to the courtyard and thankfully though it was cold, it was not wet. There was a bench placed between to carefully sculpted shrubberies, and Caitlin headed straight for it. Her book bag hit with a thud and in seconds she was comfortably laying on her stomach, humming to something in her head, and drawing a picture of a cat riding a broom stick and playing quidditch. There couldn't have been a better way to start of Caitlin's Do Anything I Want Saturday.
