If there was one thing on this Earth that Cooper despised, it was shopping. So naturally, Bagnold had him running around like a chicken with his head cut off to obtain a lengthy list of supplies for the Ministry personnel stock. He'd been in Hogsmeade for less than 24 hours, but he'd already been in each shop twice, it seemed. Perhaps it was for the best, he needed to reacquaint himself with this territory anyways, as he would be spending a gratuitous amount of time between the village and Hogwarts for the remainder of the Wizarding Cup. Coop had been more than enthusiastic to accept the role as Representative to the Minster of Magic for the duration of the tournament, competitions absolutely delighted him. It wasn't as if he could decline even if he had wanted to though, as the Advisor to the Minister of Magic herself, it was his duty to assist her in any and all accepts of her position.
This competition could prove to be useful and intriguing in more ways then one, however. There had been some curious rumors spreading rapidly through the Ministry and the surrounding wizarding community as of late. Tales that spoke of a Dark Lord rising to prestige, and enveloping the entirety of the world with his power. Cooper was currently under the impression that the scandalous speech was revolving around none other than Tom Riddle, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts. During his time in the school, he was obligated to do some investigating into the man, though not strictly for professional reasons. No, Coop's interest was far more personal than that. He had discovered how thrilling the art of Dark Magic was, and immensely enjoyed the provocative feeling of a euphoric buzz that was produced by such spells. He would simply adore it if someone could help him develop his talents further. Adding to his growing lists of reasons for becoming acquainted with this...Dark Lord....was his yearning to destroy his brother and that bloody awful muggle wife of his, thus gaining custody of his nephew, Hunter.
Cooper felt a wide and satisfying grin spread across his face as he thought on the matter for a few moments. Though he relished the thought of retrieving his relative and raising him in the proper wizarding fashion, Coop recognized that this was not the time to be pondering the subject. Instead, he refocused his attention to the undulating list of items in his hand, reaching well over 50 items he still needed to purchase. Currently, he was in some potions shop, just off of the main shopping strip in central Hogsmeade. He perused the shelves, looking for several ingredients, including Ptolemy, Root of Aconite, Galanthus Nivalis, and the ever illusive Starthistle. Hearing the door bell ring signaling the arrival of a new patron in the establishment, he briefly glanced up, but did a double take as he recognized the customer. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Prim Poppy the Proper. What brings you hear, love?" Cooper questioned the woman, using an old nick name that he had remembered from their days at Hogwarts. 'Well, she has CERTAINLY grown up, hasn't she? Wonder if she's still a prude. he pondered internally. She was looking positively delicious these days, he realized as he slowly devoured her figure with his eyes from feet to head. Yummy.
