For most sane individuals, 6 am was a cruel time of day. That unsavory feeling of being forced to roll out of bed, place your feet on the bone-chilling floors, and get motivated for the day was commonplace. Morgana, however, was anything but common. For instance, she thrived on being awake before the golden rays of the sun had even began to break through her window. In fact, she had been up for an hour already. She had showered and primped herself to perfection, and picked out yet anther pristine outfit. Today, she opted for skinny grey trousers and a form fitting black leather jacket, to ward off the early morning breeze. She had even had not one, but two cups of strong, lavender blended tea already. Currently, she was tidying up her shop as she munched on a deliciously addictive Pumpkin muffin, loaded with cinnamon and sweet brown sugar.
As she walked to the front of the store to flip her sign from 'Closed' to 'Open', she noticed that her neighbor at Dervish and Banges had already opened. A small smile played across her lips, she was in dire need of a few new books to become absorbed in. Instead of changing her sign, she walked out the front door, carefully locking it behind her. She quickly stepped into the lovely little book nook in order to avoid the cold gusts of late autumn. The bell rang as the door shut behind her, and she slowly made her way down an aisle towards the Ancient Magic section. She was passionate about the magical artifacts, and enjoyed spending her free time learning more on the subject. She took a small bite of her muffin as she ran her finger down the spine of several intriguing looking titles. Morgana inhaled deeply, loving the musty smell of the rustic books in the shop. Pulling a book out of the shelf by the binding, she thumbed through the first few pages before deciding she absolutely must have it. It was an interesting looking study entitled Gems of Ancient Egypt: Mystic and Magical Properties.
Glancing up, she noticed that the shop keeper was standing behind the counter at the moment. "Excuse me, Maxim? Do you happen to know off the top of your head if you have any books about modern fairy tales, such as The Three Brother's from Beedle the Bard, and their connection with realistic artifacts?" Morgana questioned. The story of the Peverell brothers with their Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Invisibility Cloak had always spiked a childish bit of curiosity within her. She was slightly embarrassed to ask, but who better to start her in the right direction then her shop neighbor? Though she didn't know him well, he was a right sight better than a few of the other entrepreneurs gracing Hogsmeade Village.
