jimena’s mother and father have always been well-known members of the spanish wizarding world. her mother, although muggle-born, became a wizarding anthropologist with a focus in spanish wizarding history following her graduation from beauxbatons. her father, a half-blood art-dealer for beaux batons and other spanish wizarding families fell in love with her after they worked together on a restoration of a few valuable pieces. jimena was born out of wedlock, although her parents married shortly after. she grew up in a world surrounded by the rich spanish culture and learned very early the importance of the graces of art and proper upbringing.
she studied at beauxbatons, and after her graduation, she apprenticed with her father for three years after her schooling, it was never enough for her, and she chose to move to the united kingdom after being offered an art curator position at the ministry of magic. she took in the politics of the world of the ministry - began to thrive under its rich environment and eventually found herself taking a completely different career path. knowledgable about beauxbaton, france, and spain, she was one of the perfect candidates for the international confederation of wizards. appointed by the head mugwump as the spanish representative, she’s taken her job quite seriously ever since…she fights for equal rights amongst all wizards and inter-magical species, has a personal goal of achieving an alliance between the spanish ministry of magic and the british ministry, and focuses most of her energy on her own initiative and ‘baby,’ the ‘magicals against beast discrimination’ confederation or MABD confederation. although she does enjoy a bit of british culture now and then, most of her efforts are on her work and political positioning.
