Well, her first meeting with Raven could have gone better. Not that she really blamed Raven for reacting the way she did. Had the roles been reversed she probably would have reacted the same way but that didn't make her feel any better. No, Rian had been her last shot and it was obviously not going to work. But with the papers signed, at least she was away form the muggles right? Maybe she could find another place to live during the summer? She didn't have to stay with Rian and Raven. Keira was no stranger to nights on the street, it was only 2 months until school started again, the team would take care of her during the day right? This was just a minor set back.
She walked through the grounds avoiding eye contact with people. She wasn't in the mood to exchange pleasantries. Since returning to school she had gone back to keeping to herself. It wasn't hard really. People knew she wasn't talkative and usually they left her alone to her thoughts. It hadn't gotten out yet that she was a strategist so she was still able to work for Grayson and she threw herself into the job and her studies. It had been a week and Keira hadn't attempted to make contact with Rian or Raven, avoiding the owlery like the plague and refused to go near any owls with letters attached to them. Sure, a few notes had ended up on her bed from room mates who go tired of the pecking at the window but she hadn't opened them. It wasn't the most mature way she could be handling herself, but she was only 16, she didn't have to be mature all the time right? It wasn't like her leaving messed anything up, at least, in her head it didn't.
It was getting late in the school year and the heat of the sun felt good as she climbed the stairs at the Quiddich Pitch. This was the place that made Keira feel the most at home. The wide open space, the stale smell of the old wood benches and most of all the emptiness of the space when there wasn't a game going on. The small Ravenclaw wouldn't be caught dead here during an actual game; Way to many people in close proximity. No, this was her favourite place to come and be alone, to think and work. This also happened to be the place where she met Rian for the first time, but that was neither here nor there. Taking her normal seat in the bleachers of the pitch she pulled out her parchment and quill and went over some of the notes she made on the Slytherin team. As the players took the pitch she sighed and slipped back into her norm.
