Hestia Jones still wore mittens. In the middle of March, the bubbly blonde refused to go anywhere without them. “March is still a bit on the chilly side,” She would laugh when asked about it. But it was something much more than that - it was the constant chill in her bones when she closed her eyes at night. The ever present and looming feeling that something was about to happen. They were on the cusp of something...and she couldn’t figure it out.
Maybe that was what bothered her the most - her ‘gift’ as they called it seemed more like an annoyance than anything else. She would get bursts of visions: blood, masks, bodies piled up, flashes of green...and nothing else for a few weeks. It constantly put her on edge, but the blonde refused to let it get her down. Instead, Hestia hid behind a wall of laughter and bubbly jokes. She was the same Hestia that she always was...only, she got about half the amount of sleep as she used to.
She pulled the ends of her scarf as she walked through the grounds, eyes trained on the tree-line of the forbidden forest. She wasn’t above sneaking out to the forest, but today wasn’t just meant for casual exploration as it normally was. Today, she was meant to meet someone. The blonde might have made a mistake realizing just then she had forgotten to inquire who it was that requested her presence in the forest...Reaching the trees, she slipped in, taking dainty steps as she moved over roots and deeper into the grove, “Hello?” Her words echoed into the forest and she winced when they came right back at her, sounding far louder than she had initially thought, “Hi? I’m here... Just me, Tia...Hestia Jones...Alone....In the Forbidden Forest....” This time her voice was softer against the wind. Suddenly, she was very glad that she had decided to meet him in the afternoon and not in the middle of the night - she wasn’t sure that she could take the Forbidden Forest in the dark. Not after what she had seen.NOTES; let me know if you need anything changed!
