Meet Minerva McGonagall. She is the first and only daughter to Robert and Isobel McGonagall. She's a former Gryffindor, but the Sorting Hat very nearly placed her in Ravenclaw. Min is bold, independent, and a brilliant witch. She was the best in her year and has gone on to do great things with her talents. Currently, she is employed as the Transfiguration Professor at Hogwarts. She also holds the positions of Head of Gryffindor and Deputy Head. In school, Minerva is a strict disciplinarian. She expects her students to show respect and act properly. Outside of Hogwarts, she is a totally different person. She's witty, bitingly sarcastic, and can hold her liquor quite well.

friends. Outside of work, Minerva truly is a lovely woman. She likes to grab an occasional drink at The Three Broomsticks and talk with her close friends. She doesn't mind social engagements and will occasionally throw some of her own. She's a good listener and offers wise advise for those who seek it. She also has a very sarcastic sense of humor. People are always shocked when they find out she can be very funny. To a degree, she is difficult to get to know. Earning her trust is not easy, but once it is earned, she is the best and most loyal friend anyone could ever have. Many of her friends will probably be Hogwarts Staff or Order Members.

enemies. Stubborn, opinionated, and fiery, Minerva has earned her fair share of enemies along the way. She has a very strong moral compass and like to stick to it, even if it means making people mad. She cannot abide Death Eater Sympathizers nor Blood Purists. If you're one of those two, you'll most likely be on her hit list. Minerva is an extremely competent witch, so crossing her is not a wise idea. She makes for a very nasty foe.

lovers. The love of her life was and always will be Dougal McGregor. Some days Minerva wishes she hadn't turned her back on his proposal, but she knows their marriage never would have worked. She'd be willing to have a go at a relationship should the right guy come along, but she isn't searching for Prince Charming. Love is the farthest thing from her mind right now. She is seeing Elphinstone Urquart casually, but she'd never call it dating. At least not yet.
