It took only a month but Jacen missed his old life very much and he decided he was going back. After discussing it with the Minister herself, he was able to re-enroll at Hogwarts to finish his schooling with a guarantee he'd get his job back following graduation. Now he was back Head Boy, Quidditch Captain and for the first time in years; Single in the castle. He had been betrothed to Andromeda Black because it was what the old bat, that he called a grandmother wanted it that way. Not that he didn't enjoy his time with Andie but they were just not right for each other. Friends maybe in another life but he had a feeling those days were long gone, he had broken it off quite suddenly when he left the school. His grandmother had given him his inheritance for getting the job so he no longer needed to please her. She was extremely unhappy that he was returning to school but she had no control now.
Now that he was back, he was ready to get back to his old tricks. Acing classes, kicking some serious ass in Quidditch and finding a new girl to pursue. Jacen had the charm so he never chased for too long but he was a guy who enjoyed the thrills of a pursuit. Making Andie care for him was tough enough so he had enjoyed that greatly, he had impressed her with his class and fearlessness. Each girl was different and wanted to see something else in their dream man. Jacen just happened to be very good at reading women and having enough good qualities to fit most dream guy descriptions.
On this fine March evening he decided to go for a stroll. The temperature was finally rising so he was able to go out in a t-shirt and jeans. Even in his down time he still looked good and he knew it. His hair was done just right and the t-shirt was tight enough to show off his sculpted abs and biceps. Tight in all the right spots. He carried a lighter with him, clicking it open and closed continuously over and over again. He had never smoked in his life, he loved to drink but smoking was not his thing. He just had a thing for fire and the noises that lighters make. He grinned to himself and walked alongside the lake. "God it's good to be home" and with a chuckle he realized he was not alone. The question was who was it.
