Gavin's morning was rather hectic. Although he didn't wake up particularly late or anything, he hadn't remembered until the last minute that he brought his work home with him ... again. The papers that he needed were all over the place and he needed every single one of them. He was filling out the proper forms for renting an area for the local Gobstones club and there were a lot more requirements and necessary forms than he would have thought possible for such a rather dull club. Gavin sort of ran around his house like a chicken with its head cut off grabbing it all and throwing it back into the file that he had it organized in. He counted them all at the last minute - all forty-eight pages were there. He then grabbed his bag and disapparated and appeared just inside of the Ministry of Magic.Although Gavin didn't technically have a time he had to be at work for considering he was the boss, he still liked to show up when everyone else did. He wanted to say because it boosted morale, but a part of it was that if he didn't he would never get nearly enough work done in a day. Half of his day was spent helping others and that was before his work came into play. Gavin had to organize just about every sporting event around and it required quite a bit of travelling and chatting and the like. He wondered how much this job was for him as he wasn't the most sociable young man around.Gavin walked purposefully towards the lift as he opened the file again and buried his nose within it. It was impossible to see what was wrong with it, but every time he submitted forms it always came back as wrong. People were completely anal about paperwork. It wasn't even like he was organizing a Quidditch match. It was just people sitting around playing this small game. They just needed the space, really, especially since turnout for crowds was usually small if not non-existent.Just as he was about to make it to the lifts, his shoulder collided with someone else's and he turned too quickly because of the impact, tripped over his own feet and although he managed not to go crashing to the grounds, the same could not be said for his papers which went everywhere."I am so sorry," Gavin said as he turned to whomever he had run into.
