It had been a long day for Monika. First, she had to do her own homework for charms. Ugh, how unbearable. The seventh year Hufflepuff let her down. No problem, she would certainly have him pay at a later date. She stood in her room, changed out of her dreaded uniform. She tried to wear it as little as possible which worked out pretty well. It gave her an excuse to chance and look pretty.
It wasn’t terribly late but it was getting a close to curfew. She was to do her rounds tonight, walking though corridors and yelling at students. Few of her favorite things to do. Monika slipped on her blue heels and strolled out of her room and soon out of the Slytherin common room. Clicking followed her as she walked through the corridors. It let those who were out, know ahead of time she was coming because really, who wore heels at Hogwarts besides her? Her hand touched the wall lightly as she walked. The rough surface on her gentle fingers could have sent shivers down her spine.
“Hey!” her voice rose like angry bulls as she watched a student run away at the sight of her and then disappear behind a corner. Monika was told to give chase to such things but she kept her pace, she wasn’t in the mood to run after someone. Or run in general. Monika continued her way down the hallway. She started humming to herself.
There was a sudden… feeling in her stomach, not a very good one either. It was only unsettling at first so she ignored it. Before she realized it, she found herself walking towards the perfect’s bathroom. It wasn’t too far from where she was at the moment, just down a few corridors.
She finally made it, after giving the password she walked in and actually started to gag. Her first thoughts were what the hell did she eat today? She did have something she normally doesn’t have, a minty dessert.
The most terrifying feeling caused Monika to run for a toilet. Her stomach twisted and turned before rejecting the food and acid in her stomach. She couldn’t hold it down and it just exploded from her mouth. Thankfully, it landed where she wanted.
This happened again, which caused her to start crying but shortly it stopped, and her stomach was feeling… normal again. But this didn’t stop her from crying. She flushed the toilet, with her hands shaking. She moved out of the stall slowly and towards the sink. Still crying but she calmed down a little.
She arrived to the mirror; she quickly washed her hands and then started to rinse her mouth out by cupping water and bringing it to her mouth. Soon she calmed down enough and felt better, she started to fix the little make up she was wearing at the time.
