A moonlight lit pathway was the only form of light that penetrated the darkness that shrouded over the young sleeping male as he lay peacefully in his bed. His eyes shift ferociously as he struggles to leave a world that is hardly existent. Sweat drips down the man's face as his fists clench onto the blanket that wraps around him. Gasps of air and the constant rolling and kicking obvious signs that he was indeed having a nightmare. The moonlight creeps up onto the bed where the man struggles softly. Slowly it emerges from the slits of the windows as the cold breeze outside gushes into the room creating a soft eerie whistling echo as it does. The breeze ricochets around the room till it slows down to linger just on top of the struggling male.
The cool wind begins to cool down as it slowly sets on the male's body. The piercing cold win touches his skin and instantly he is awaken from the howling abyss of his nightmare screaming as he does." No get out!" His voice echos around his room bouncing off the walls as he begins to search for his wand drastically taking deep breaths of air whilst he does so. Panic strikes the man as the darkness begins to creep up on him once more. " W-w-where is it?" He whispers softly as the sounds of the sheets rustling begin to echo around his room.
A sense of relief hits him as his hands begin to grasp onto something that he found was familiar. He gripped onto his wand tightly as he pointed it toward the creeping darkness A deep gasp of air and a sudden swallow was all he done before he struggled to scream out his following sentence. " Lumos!" The bright, blinding blue light penetrated the darkness that was creeping onto him and within a matter of seconds, his whole room had become a beacon of blue light. He waved his wand frantically around his room to ensure that his nightmare had indeed not come true.
His eyes scanned the room for any signs of movement. Sweat still dripped down the side of his face as as he scanned every inch and corner of his room. The hastey scan began to slow down as his tight clench started to loosen. " It was all a dream. Just, a dream. " He said as he slowly and cautiously lowered his wand and watched as the light began to fade away allowing the darkness into his room once again. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he began to lay down once again. " Just a dream. " he said once again trying to assure himself that it was indeed just a dream. He shifted his sheets over him and began searching for the sleep train. His eyes began to close as he whispered once more " Just a dream. That's it. " And with this said, he began to fall asleep once again peacefully and quietly yet still clenching onto his wand firmly.
