It's been a while. [June]

”Post-it Notes. Fascinating new things,” June perched on the edge of her desk and looked out at her class, a few of whom were snickering at the idea. She held up a pad of small yellow post-its and then threw them to the nearest student, ”Go ahead, everyone can take one. They’re for keeping small notes. Muggles put them on the refrigerator!” It was an off day for her, they had completed most of their lessons before their next essay, so today was just sort of a break for her students. They had talked about loads of strange inventions, most of which her class had found hysterical. Computers, ethernet cables, the beginning of laser-jet printers, record players (those were her personal favorites).

Looking up from the girl in the front row, June noticed that there was someone standing in the back of her classroom. A very handsome professor that she was particularly fond of: Felix Lindgren. Immediately, she felt her face go red for absolutely no reason, there was just something striking about him being here that put her senses on high-alert, ”A-a-a-” Her stutter immediately showed herself and she put her hand to her lip, trying to throw herself out of it. ‘Pull yourself together, Juney,’ She demanded and took a big breath. He obviously had something to show her, as he was mouthing that she had to read it. Immediately she felt a smile growing from behind her fingertips, ”And that’s actually all I have for today.” She shut the book that was on her lap and hopped down off of the desk, ”Just remember that tomorrow we’ll be starting on the education system for Muggles; make sure you read chapter 14. Class dismissed!”

Walking back to the back of the room, June folded her arms across her chest. Her cheeks were still burning slightly from the surprise of seeing him, ”Look who it is. Haven’t seen you in a while, Professor Lindgren,” She rolled her eyes, but couldn’t stop from laughing, ”Felix.” She looked at the parchment that he had been waiving at her during her lecture and raised both her eyebrows, ”What is it that’s got you so worked up that you just couldn’t wait until my class was over, hmmm?” She asked.

”C’mon,” She motioned, walking toward her office and beckoning for Felix. She didn’t have another class until later in the day and she could always stand some company, especially from the well-mannered and rather hysterical Ghoul Studies professor. Slipping into the well-lit and cozy room, she turned around and raised both of her eyebrows, ”I’m sure it’s good, now spill Lidgren.” She said, wondering just what was written on those pages.

The blonde professor couldn’t help but laugh at the silly expression that was on her co-worker’s lips as he shut the door behind him. What he said next was even less surprising; she had been working with Felix long enough to know exactly what made him tick, ”Don’t give them any ideas,” June said, reaching up and brushing some of her blonde hair back away from her face as she grinned up at Felix, ”I’m sure they all have their little rumors about what’s happening between the Ghoul Studies Professor and the Muggle Studies Professor.” She said jokingly and then laughed rather nervously.

She reached out and took the papers from him, letting her thick-framed glasses slip down as she began skimming the pages that were in front of her, ”You don’t mean-” Her voice faded off slightly as she read a sentence that was particularly disturbing. Whomever had written this sincerely had an obsession with the Professor. Not that she could blame them - looking up over the top of the parchment, she found herself looking at his impressive physique and the darling way his eyes seemed to light up. He made her feel rather light-headed and she wondered what it would be like if she were the character in this story and.

”Ahem-” June made herself cough to pull herself out of the strange fantasy that she had momentarily been involved in. Sometimes she was sure that there was something strange about Felix...something that made him more attractive than the average gentleman. Focusing back on the pages in front of her, June continued reading, ”Well-” She stopped at the end of one of the paragraphs as she felt a deep blush rising to her cheeks in response.

?”Natalie Meiser,” She nodded. It had to be her - she was fairly certain that the fifth year was the only one with such an...active imagination. The girl was in her Muggle Studies class but liked to sit in the back row and put her feet up on the table in defiance, ”I can’t believe that she gave this to you! It’s like you have a weird p-p-p-” June realized that she was stuttering and took a second to breath, ”Power over them!” She would never understand the hold that Felix seemed to hold on both the students and sometimes on her, ”It’s called a fan-fiction.” Putting down the parchment and pulling her glasses off of her face, she felt a wicked grin pulling at her lips, ”Someone wrote a bloody fan-fiction about you!”
