A bit of Butterbeer [Jor][FINISHED]

It was cold too bloody cold and Joram was just glad to get out of the Slytherin common room and out on his own. Integra has been nothing but hell dealing with, and the conversation with Bellatrix was a little nerve shattering. That and he had a few clients to meet in Hogsmeade. Pulling his jacket on tightly over his shoulders Joram made his way through the forbidden forest toward the village of Hogsmeade. Others might think it unnecessary to not follow the path, but for what Joram was doing it was more than necessary.

Checking his stock and making sure he had the right product was important and lately he had no idea what was missing from his trunk because of Integra. Whiskey, Rum, Wine and Tequila, he was meeting all sorts of people tonight. What started out as a light dusting happened to change quickly as snow started to fall rapidly. Not a single sound could be heard by the naked ear, but for Joram, he could hear the snow laying to rest on the ground and it was unsettling.

With Rabastan being gone, things have changed. Rodolphus was angry, Integra felt abandoned, Joram felt like he was going to lose it between the both of them. Since Avona took the Slytherin away there has been a lull in the common room. An unwelcoming presence of sorts. It was much darker.

Finally through the silence the ringing of a bell cracked the air and warmth nearly knocked the Hufflepuff boy back out of the Three Broomsticks. Looking around and peeling the gloves from his fingers. Jor saw familiar faces, plenty of familiar faces. Keeping his head down and shifting his bag on his shoulder he noticed that Ezra was sitting at a table all on her own. Checking his watch quietly before moving soundlessly across the wooden floor towards the Ravenclaw beaut, Joram smiled politely. "Seems that you and I are always meeting in the most unlikely of places. Mind if I join you, you look as though you could use some company."

Within moments Joram found himself sitting down across from Ezra with a smile. It's been a while since the two of them had talked and the last time they did he ruined almost everything that she was. In front of the entire school. "I know how cravings go!" He spoke half jokingly. There were only a few people who knew of his problem and it was getting a little worse. Especially with the neglect.

"I've got to make my rounds and pick up an order. Also I've been hiding out in the Slytherin dungeons, seeing as I'm not exactly welcome back in the Hufflepuff basement." Joram has been through a lot this last week and it was all starting to pile up on his shoulders. Rodolphus wouldn't talk, or even write, to Rabastan, nor would he talk about it. There was been a lot of time being spent with Bellatrix and to say Joram wasn't jealous would be a flat out lie. He was very jealous.

It seemed as though both of them were hiding out and laying low. It was a good feeling to not be the front of attention. Though Rabastan had seemed to claim the title for the moment. Shrugging his shoulder briefly and looking up at Ez as she asked if he wanted a butterbeer. "Um, actually, that would be nice. Here let me pay."

Hoisting himself out of the booth, Jor sauntered to the counter with a smile and ordered two toasty butterbeers and laid down a few coins. Pushing his hair out of his face before grabbing the gigantic steins and making his way back to the table. "I never get tired of these, though normally I would go for something stronger. I just don't want to get shit faced in public and say something I might regret later."

Laughing quietly and focusing in on Ezra a little more, he remembered the last time they talked and how he calmed her down and let her hid out in his dorm for a while. "Ever since Cait called me and Rodolphus out it's been less than welcoming, but I've learned to deal and the Slytherin's are a lot more welcoming than one would think." A smile actually spread across his lips as he talked with her. Ezra was just one of those people that were easy to talk to, about everything. Except he would keep his little habits to himself for as long as he could.

"We could be hermits. But then all of my clients would miss me." As much as he would like to live as a recluse, he couldn't. Joram needed social interaction that was how he thrived. It wasn't any offense that Ezra ordered something from the waitress.

Joram couldn't help but smile and check her out. Sure he'd given up on girls, but lately he was aching to get back into his old shoes especially since the Rod and Bella thing. It was something internal he had to deal with and to say he wasn't in the least attracted to Ezra would have been a lie.

She had a lovely laugh as well, and Joram found himself somewhat self conscious. He would never cheat on Rod, never, but when he was being pushed to the way side he didn't feel the love he needed. "We could. God only knows how much alcohol I have in my bag. After we finish these, lets say we head into the Forbidden Forest and cause mayhem?"

"They have their moments, but you learn how to handle them on a more personal level." A smile crossed his lips as the conversation ensued. Ezra was someone he had ruined publicly, yet she was still able to talk to him freely and as if nothing had happened.

Her visions of grandeur and using hippogriffs to deliver product made Joram laugh quietly and shake his head. It's been a long time since he was able to talk openly about these sorts of things and she understood what he did. Did it make him a bad person? Sure it did. There were things about Joram a lot of people didn't know. Most of them didn't know about his being a vampire, or his addiction to cocaine. In fact he was certain that Ezra had no idea about either of his biggest secrets. Or perhaps it was the secret of him being a death-eater. No one knew aside from Rodolphus considering that lately he was the only one to see him naked.

"Fifty cats? I know where we could get them. My dad has this thing for cats, I'm sure he could get us halfway there. I just hope you're not allergic to them. I can't be a hermit by myself and I love cats." Joram laughed and finished off his butterbeer in one fell swoop. Ezra was a good person, he didn't want to ruin that, but if he could have friends in high places then he would. It wasn't a necessity to have friends. Normally Jor only hide clients, that was until he heard his nickname. It's been ages since anyone had called him Jorrie, and that was mostly a name used by his father.

"Oh we can make a fire, or are we not wizards?!" Announcing loudly to the room. He spotted a man in the corner looking them over. Waving his wand to bring him closer. Jor fell quiet for a moment and finished a trade. A black bag, a bag of coin and two bottles of rum were passed in the exchange and he looked across the table to Ezra. "I'm still game for a trek through the wilderness. I brought my jacket if you need it."
