Zoe Lachance

Sisters, ten years apart in age.

The girls were orphaned soon after Zoe's birth and sent into the system. Jessica was ten, and although Zoe continuously pries her sister for information on her parents, Jessica claims she doesn't remember much about their parents. She says as time goes on she forgot their parents' voice, and now all she really remembers is snippets here and there, mostly of their mother being pregnant, but not much more than the picture the girls have. They were sent into the Muggle system, which also blurs the question of what bloodline they are from. 

The story they received of their parents' death was a murder suicide from their father's behalf. It saddens them both to think about it, so they don't talk about it. Jessica clipped a snippet from a newspaper that she had found around that time, and although time has made it almost unreadable, Jessica forever remembers the words that had been on that page.

The two girls were never adopted by anyone. They jumped around in the foster system, and Jessica mainly took care of Zoe as the young girl grew up. They spent most of their time fostered in Russia, which was easier for Zoe as she was younger and could pick up Russian easier than her older sister. Jessica received a letter when she was eleven and was sent to Durmstrang. With the help with one of the professors at Durmstrang, the girls were plucked out of the Muggle foster care and placed into a magical one. Unfortunately, in Jessica's third year, their foster family had another baby of their own and didn't want the girls anymore. They were sent to France, where Jessica finished her magical education at Beauxbatons. 

When Jessica graduated, she took Zoe into her own care and moved to London, England. English was still her best language by far, and she had struggled heavily with Russian, and almost as much with French. Jessica therefore hadn't had the best scores in school, which left her with few options. Living in London was much more expensive than she had thought, and working a simple job in a cafe just didn't cut it, at all. 

It was then that she came across an escort service in a magazine she read. She was curious so she called them up. She wasn't sure what she was getting into, but she met up with the woman who ran the service. She liked the look of Jessica, and after giving her a test run with a regular client of theirs who liked blondes, the woman took Jessica on at a very good rate. Although Jessica has to give her company a share of what she makes, she soon realized that they were charging considerably more for Jessica than many of the other girls. It turned out that not many attractive women seemed to come to them, so they charged more because Jessica was more attractive, drew in more customers, and received good reviews. 

The money allowed the sisters to live a very comfortable life in downtown London. Jessica bought a flat that was quite nice. She, however, could not tell Zoe about where she was working, so she blatantly lied and said she was working at the Ministry of Magic which was closeby. Jessica certainly dressed posh enough for having a high job in the Ministry. In a way, she wasn't lying. Many, many clients worked at the Ministry. She spent so much time there that many people there just assumed Jessica actually worked there as well. Jessica was privy to a lot of information that she shouldn't know. 

When working, Jessica goes by the name of "Serena." It's an alter-ego she puts on that helps her keep her work and real life separate. Unlike many girls in the service, Jessica actually likes her work. She has a very high sex drive, and doesn't care that she's doing it with strangers. The money she makes is also something that she's not willing to give up. 

Jessica is very easy to get along with, and therefore would have many friends. She likes to have a good laugh and likes to be social. She goes to many events and tends to get along with most people she comes across. She tells people that she works for herself in a successful Muggle company that she had inherited from her mother before she died of sickness. So far, no one had picked it up. Those who knew what she did for a living usually kept a tight lip as they didn't want to have to explain how they knew Jessica as Serena. Jessica wouldn't really have many enemies.

Zoe was accepted into Hogwarts, and was quickly sorted into Ravenclaw. She always held her head high due to her financial status with her sister, and now she knew that she was extremely clever due to her sorting. Although friendly, Zoe tends to have a bit of a pretentious streak. Usually one has to prove their intellect before Zoe will give them the time of day, but when they do, she tends to relax and be a lot more fun to be around. She is a night hawk, and tends to do most of her homework and reading in the dead of night. She doesn't seem to require a lot of sleep, either. 

Zoe had a few boyfriends so far in Hogwarts, mostly a couple that she went between frequently. She hoped that year to cut it off between both of them, but it was harder than she knew. She always seemed to want to see one of them. Zoe has a hard time being alone and tends to want to have a boyfriend. She has an idea in her head of how a relationship should be for her, and so far although the two boys she went between didn't perfectly match her ideals, they were close and that was why she had a hard time letting them go.

Zoe would have a much smaller group of friends than her sister. Zoe likes who she likes, and struggles to befriend others outside of it. Although she's introverted, with her friends she's like a firecracker. She enjoys drinking (also unlike her sister) and dancing. Zoe can be a little argumentative at times and likes to have the last word in a fight. However, she's quite forgiving. Zoe also likes to dress well, and tends to dress above her age a bit due to the fact that she sometimes imitates her older sister's style. 

Zoe is also very athletic. She tends to go for runs quite frequently and works out as best as she can at Hogwarts. Where her sister prefers lighter workouts like yoga, Zoe likes to work harder. She plays Seeker on the Ravenclaw team.

Zoe would have friends in any House, but also people who think she's snotty and pretentious. It can go either way.

So yeah, there's the girls. Any plot ideas would be welcome
