LILY MARIE EVANS -- 17 -- GRYFFINDOR
full name: Lily Marie Evans
nicknames: Lils, Lil, Evans (by Potter) and Freak (by Petunia)
age: 17
birthplace: Cokesworth, England
blood-type: Muggleborn
sexuality: Heterosexual
year/occupation: Sixth Year
three words to describe character: Kind, Intelligent, Stubborn
play by: Isla Fisher
(from another Marauders Era RP with Sirius Black, circa Seventh Year)
Lily slammed her book down.
The patience of a saint, this one had. It wasn't some God-given gift she was born with, but more a quality she had taught herself to adapt in years of being a prefect and now Head Girl. She was patient with first years who always got lost. She was patient with the people she looked after in Detention who insisted upon making that one hour of her life absolute hell. She was patient with James Potter, for Christ's sake, but these Slytherins were really testing it.
When she had sat down at her lonesome table in the corner of the library, it had been quiet enough to hear a quill drop. Thankfully, she had finished her essay in the quiet time the universe allotted, but as she opened her book, it seemed all hell broke loose. The ginger glared at the obstreperous group or Slytherins, but they were hardly bothered. Their conversation could probably be heard in every single corner of the library, and what they said was hardly civilized. That derogatory term for muggleborns reached her ears and she couldn't help but flinch. Her hands clasped the book tighter.
BANG!
That did it. That was when the Head Girl had slammed her book down before shoving it into her bag, slung it over her shoulder and with a with a face of complete calmness, made her way around the corner and faced the Slytherins. They hadn't even known she was there. "Detention, the lot of you," she said to the three delinquents. Being in the position she was, and with them actually having vandalized school property, she could sentence them to punishment, and how she enjoyed it. She turned her back to their angry cursing, and quickly made her way out of the library.
She didn't know where she was going to go now; the grounds were too busy, the library was out of the question, and James was probably in the Common Room. Lily remembered the North Wing; like the library, but hardly as busy. Plus, there was a very comfortable arm chair next to the window - a perfect spot for her to sit and read. It wasn't long before she reached it.
Walking in, her boots echoed softly around the quiet area, she spotted someone at a desk, working very intently. She didn't want to bother him, and turned to leave, but not before she had walked close enough to recognize him. "Sirius?" she asked, dubiously, her voice strangely loud in the quiet room.
