( PERSONALITY ) : Being the weakest and smallest in his group of friends, Peter always feels he has to prove something, or defend himself, making him a little moody at times. He often pushes himself into doing things beyond his comfort level to fit in, or to prove to himself he can do it. he hates being categorized by what he 'can't' do. He is a rather smart boy, able to pick up tricks with enough practise and training, but do to poor memory, he's often forgetting what he's learned which makes him come off as thick sometimes. When criticized or reprimanded, Peter shuts down, refusing to be co-operative or even talk about things. If given the right attention, Peter is happy to let people in and share his world with others. Desperate for the attention and the adventure, Peter follows anyone willing to provide both, though his loyalties lie mostly with the Marauders who know how to get him in and out of trouble on a good-time-high.

( HISTORY ) :
Peter's upbringing can be described through one word: Grey. The sky in Birmingham was always grey, as was his father's hair. So too were the sweaters his mother knit him, and even the peeling wall paper in his bedroom. His father drove a grey junker to his job at the owl-post, and his mother stayed home to cook meatloaves in various shades of grey. His tenth birthday present was a grey kite, and his only companion for years was a grey toad- until it died (probably of boredom). Peter longed for anything to happen that might add a little colour to his boring life. He dreamed of adventures that might take him away from Fishing on Saturdays with his father, and routine monthly check ups from his Aunt Wilma.  Getting accepted into Hogwarts was the most colorful thing to happen to young Peter- besides the accident, but he's not ready to talk about that yet.

Peter's life changed once he started school. This new side of magic was thrilling and interesting! And the people were zany and colouful! Almost immediately he was attracted to a group of boys who seemed to understand his same need for adventure. Through months of kissing ass, and probably more than his fair-share of being annoying, Peter managed to get in with the three other Gryffindors and the four of them have been tight ever since.
