It was sunny out of Kasch had nothing left to study, lessons were complete and he needed to get some anger from his system for failing such a simple test in herbology. He hated the class, so instead he decided to climb up to the tower and grab his baseball bat. It was a Black Louisville Slugger with white taped wrapped around the handle and a red ribbon braided and protected with a simple charm. He's had it ever since that day back in December. This year would mark two years that he's held onto the ribbon and it was a constant reminder that no matter what, he was good and would always be good. That poor girl and that monster of a man. Shaking the images from his mind, Kasch started for the lawn.
Once on a snow covered knoll, the boy started to pack snow balls that were about the size of baseballs, with that he pulled out his wand to transfigure them into league standard balls, red laces and all. Sniffing in, Kasch pulled a black glove from his back pocket and fixed it upon his left hand. Standing with his back toward the castle looking out over the lake. His left hand fixed over his right as he tossed a 'snow' ball into the air. Swinging roughly at first he missed it, trying to get his timing down completely.
Again he tossed the same ball into the air and crushed it a loud crack echoed through the lawn and courtyards, but he continued not really caring, he's already made sure that upon impact they turned back into the soft powder from which they were made. He hated himself for being pulled away after the incident, he wanted to help the girl, but all he had left of her was the red ribbon that was weaved around the handle of the one thing that meant more to him than anything else. Rubbing his eyes lightly he grabbed another ball and crushed it out hitting the edge of the lake. Even though he saved her from more harm he couldn't say anything, couldn't speak out. Guilty.
