(PERSONALITY ) :
Silas is a complex character. On the one hand, he wants to be memorable - to make a difference, to befriend people. On the other, he is very competitive - gambling, challenges, duels, shows of skill. Coming from a half-blood home and seeing what each world has to offer, he despises the use of names such as "mudbloods," and has been given detention on more than one occasion for his reactions. He remains devoutly loyal to his friends - and anyone being picked on, for that matter.
Born the youngest of three brothers - one of which has becoming a high-ranking ministry official, and the other having played in a Quiddicth World Cup match - Silas feels that he must prove himself. Every challenge handed to him is a new tempting offer, and Silas has a difficult time turning away; the sure-fire way to get him involved is to refer to him as a "half-blood" in a derogatory manner. Even when facing unlikely odds, his rashness will blind him to acceptance.
Silas's interaction with women has been... limited. His only close family member of the opposite sex was his mother, and testosterone runs high in his family. Though he has dated while at Hogwarts, it has not been a high priority for the young man, and he often has trouble noticing a come-on unless it's blatantly thrown into his face.
Tensions are not something Silas remains oblivious to, however. He, among others, have noticed the growing uneasiness between Dumbledore and the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor; Silas has shied away from the latter, noticing that many of the same people he hates - those that use terms such as "mudblood" - seem to flock towards Tom Riddle. As such, he has become a sympathizer for those against Riddle and his followers, recognizing that something dark is just over the horizon.

( EYES ) : Blue, round eyes.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Often unshaven, pointy chin; rounded cheek-bones; straight teeth (straightened by magic); thin, long lips.
(BODY STRUCTURE ) : Silas has an average build. He remains active enough to not be lanky, but the occasional use of magic instead of manual labor has kept him from being heavily muscular. He stands at an even 6'0" and weighs roughly 170lbs.
( ATTIRE ) : Unafraid of being called out on it, he remains content wear muggle attire - jeans, sneakers, t-shirts. In fact, his favorite t-shirt remains a dark gray "The Beatles" t-shirt, often leading to inquiries about why he likes insects.
( PLAY-BY ) : Chace Crawford

-Robert Alexander Graham, Sr. - father, 50, muggle car mechanic
( SIBLINGS ) :
-Robert Alexander Graham, Jr. - eldest brother, Ravenclaw, 26, works in Ministry's Magical Law Enforcement
-Trevor Lynn Graham - middle brother, Gryffindor , 23, team ranked second place in 1975's Quidditch World Cup
( OTHERS ) : N/A
( HISTORY ) :
Until age eight, Silas remained an immensely quiet child - the kind that remained hidden behind the legs of his parents. The magic, nor the muggle world impressed him - he had seen aspects of both and regarded both as "normal." During one summer break, however, he discover Trevor's broomstick and, unsupervised, decided to test-fly it. The feeling of freedom, of absolute elation, sent shockwaves through the young boy. This, he decided was surely the greatest magic of all. Within a few minutes, however, the boy slipped and fell almost twenty feet, breaking his arm. But it would do nothing to avert Silas from his new found passion.
The change was instant - Silas sought more of the same feeling. He began asking all sorts of questions, investigating both worlds, wanting to find more of the same feeling that flying gave him. Trevor and Silas began attending Quidditch matches (Go Ireland!), collecting player cards, getting autographs - but that wasn't enough. Silas's father attempted to show him aircraft, hoping to have a non-magical son, but the metal flying machine gave zero semblance to the likes of flying on a broomstick.
At age eleven, Silas received his letter to Hogwarts; it was the second best day of his life, and the following months were a blur of shopping and preparing for school. He immediately felt as if he fit in, since both worlds had been so "normal" to the boy. Many of Trevor's friends knew Silas and, seen hanging out with 7th years, Silas was looked on with respect. There were a few odd moments - being asked why the playing card faces didn't move, being asked why muggles wore t-shirts depicting insects, and being asked to see muggle money - but, overall, it was a pleasant experience.
The years flew by. Silas became somewhat popular amongst staff who recognized that, despite
his many detentions, they were in the defense of others. An off-hand
comment by a professor had suggested that Silas was even considered for
prefect status, but was denied because of his many ("well-meant")
detentions. In his fifth year, Silas obtained N.E.W.T.S. in his Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Herbology, and Charms classes, and he began looking into careers within the Ministry, though has yet to decide on what he truly wants to do with his life. Even further confusing is that his love for Quidditch has yet to come to an end.

( EXPERIENCE ) : Three years consistently, about seven years total.

( ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ) :
This is an opening post from a Heroes RPG site that I admined at for a year. Most of my posts are -not- this long, but I do aim for 300+ words, at the very least. It was a wearying question. Of
course, there were still final examinations to formulate; there were
last minute assignments to grade; there were essays in need of revision,
to be handed back to students for them to prepare their final drafts.
In a few short weeks would finally come relief to the students' minds in
the form of summer break; all the work piled up on the professor's
coffee table would need to be completed before then - rather sooner
than later. But on this stormy evening at half past seven, in the
professor's apartment loft, his mind was in the same consistent state
that it had been in since October: distracted.
The question,
despite its nature, was a simple one: what was right? Unfortunately, as
wise as philosophy had proved to be - especially in moral ethics - it
provided no concrete answer. Everything called for consistency in
choice, but left the beholder to decide which was the appropriate
choice.
Draph did not wish death on any innocent lives. That was
not the question at stake here. The question was retaliation; the
question was fairness; the question was about restoring balance. It was
about justice and where the line should be drawn.
Building 26 had
taken from him the love of his life. They were to be wed. They were
going to have a family - children, vacations, the first day of school,
the first time to see their children fall in love, and grandchildren.
They were going to grow old together. The professor had seen it; it had
been a potential future. But the light of such a dream was snuffed out
when Maria was killed whilst saving innocents from Building 26.
Danko,
Petrelli, Hudson - the main players of Building 26 - were the guilty
cast. Maria had harmed no one. Draph had harmed no one. Yet her life had
been dispensable and only Draph suffered the consequence of such an
act. Despite the fall of their organization, all three of the
aforementioned continued living, content. They held none of the
suffering that Draph had faced. They shared none of the nightmares that
awoke the professor with cold sweat. Two of them were in the White
House, having their every whim catered!
Though Draph would never
share this idea with Isaac Mendez - lest the professor be viewed as
untrustworthy - Nemesis brought about a sense of balance to the lopsided
equation. Perhaps they could bring forth the justice that the trinity
of Building 26 had managed to dodge.
Nietzschian's Overman
philosophy - over which Draph had recently written his dissertation
over, achieving his long sought-after Ph.D. - pushed for a new and
re-structured morality. Perhaps this is where fate was calling Draph, to
rethink his own morality. What if stepping aside for Nemesis was the
proper calling? Or what if - just what if - the restructuring of his
morality need to incorporate a sort of alliance with the terrorists?
What
brought all of this up was an intriguing image. For, as the professor's
hand brushed against the kitchen counter as he made his way to the
storage of liquor in its cabinet, information raced forth. His passive
form of claircognizance - something he typically ignored - gave a tidbit
of information that varied from its usual nature.
Draph was to
receive a visitor into his apartment, according to a possible future - a
man with rain water on the soles of his footwear and a rather
recognizable hat on the top of his head. If Draph's ability was to be
believed, Yomin Breise, the most hunted man in the world, would
personally be making an appearance before the night was over.
And,
as the professor crossed the foyer to open the door for his guest,
Doctor Senna Xavier Bond - known to friends as Draph - had half a mind
to invite him in.
