It had been a tough day. Rian was getting sick of the rehab, it was taking entirely too long. What's the point of being a wizard with all of this power if it won't even fix a bum knee. All he wanted was to play Quidditch again, it was his key to happiness, key to his future and everything else he wanted in this world. He settled in at the bar and ordered a shot. He didn't have the patience to drink beer today. Usually he didn't drink alone but he made an exception today, maybe his knee would feel better after a few shots of Jameson. The shot was placed in front of him and done his throat before he could even take a breath. He slammed it down, wincing at the taste and turned back to the bartender. "Two more please and make them doubles."
He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. He had never felt so alone in the world, cut off from his teammates and family, Rian was not in the mood to deal with life. He had seen his brother quickly in passing this week and even he wouldn't talk to him. Ashamed? Does he think Rian wants to be back at Hogwarts? He left this place a long time ago, never wanting to come back and now here he was stuck back at this school after all these years. As the new shots were placed in front of him, he felt the door open. He didn't bother to look assuming he wouldn't care to know who would walk in.
As he downed the first shot, he heard one of the guys whistle from the back. He now know that whoever had walked in was clearly a woman, probably a scantily clad and easy woman. Something that would more than usually interest him but right now he couldn't even make the effort to look and see who it was or what she might look like. He went to down the second shot when he heard her speak, to him. Of course it was her. With a grin, he threw the shot down his throat, shook his head in disgust and began to laugh. "Hey there Red" he didn't even turn, he didn't need to. Maybe there were upsides to not drinking alone.
