Katrina Langly sprawled herself out of the lawn. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Well, Kat thought it was beautiful. It was getting late in the year and the ground was rather cold. But the sun was shining bright and the wind was hardly blowing, everything seemed at piece and Kat loved it.
She happy watched the sky, trying to find pictures in the clouds. She and her brother used to do this every Saturday before he graduated. It was really the only time they would get to spend together and Kat missed him a lot. Even though her was gone, the petite girl still found herself making her way to the lawn each Saturday afternoon.
The girl giggled as she found shapes in the clouds. One looked like a beaters bat, while another looked like a dragon soring through the sky. She laughed more as she imagined the Dragon swooping down to attack the castle. Kat had a great imagination, sure, it got her into trouble sometimes but Kat wouldn't trade it for anything. Her overactive imagination was Kat's favourite thing about herself, she could spend hours inside her head and have no complaints about missing other things.
The girl turned her attention back to the other clouds in the sky, they were starting to get darker, and Kat hoped that it would not start to rain. Not that she didn't like the rain, she really enjoyed watching it hit the window in her room but what she didn't like was the loud noises and flashes of light that tended to come with it. Thunderstorms terrified the girl, although no one really knew why. Kat shook her head, clearing all thoughts of storms. The sun was still shining and Kat planed to enjoy it for as long as possible.
