Joram had been sleeping in the Slytherin Common Room for a few days now and he knew what he had to do. Even if the guys in the house didn't approve, Eddie was still his friend and what he said was beyond forgiveness. That wouldn't stop Joram from trying to make things right. He was brought up better than that and even if he lived in a house full of Death Eaters, Joram knew that blood type didn't mean anything. He was considered a dirt-blood by any standard, even though he was a pureblood the vampirisim made it more difficult to find a suitable mate and procreate. Now that the entire school knew about him and Rodolphus, how was he going to take to the name calling and the slurs. Black Dago.
Rubbing his hands together, violet eyes moved to the clock that struck five pm. Dinner time. Standing up, Joram left the common room and went straight for the Great Hall. His face had been scarce in the mess hall, but if he knew there was one place he could for certain find Eddie, it was here. Pushing open the oak doors all eyes seemed to rest on him. Making a beeline for the Ravenclaw table he spotted that curly mop of hair. Swallowing hard he tapped Eddie's shoulder.
"Ca-can I talk with you? Outside preferably?" Joram's voice was quiet and low, he would take anything the boy could possibly give him as Jorrie wasn't normally a fighter. The other day was one of the first times he's ever acted out and he was afraid his father would find out he was on cocaine. That fear set him straight the past two days. Going about his dealings silently, hardly talking to his clients and those he was selling the hard liquor to, but it all felt wrong. Caitlin was usually at his side with all of her pep, but whenever he walked by her or she caught his eye she would give him a death stare.
Nodding his head to the doors he looked at the Ravenclaw table and his cousin was leaning over the solid slab of wood. "What if he doesn't want to Five. You said some really mean and unforgivable things to him." Adeline's voice boomed through the room calling unwanted attention. "You should just leave the kid alone, you've already done enough damage." Her icy blue eyes met his deep violet ones as he stood up more straight.
"Eddie, the offer is on the table, it's really important. I'll just be in the entry way if you make up your mind. Also. Adeline keep out of business that isn't yours." With that, Joram let his boots click on the solid stone floor and left the great hall. Pulling the black bottle from his messenger bag he took a few swigs and placed it back where it belonged. Leaning against a pillar he looked out over the lawn and waited for Eddie.
