The sun was barely in the sky as Kat scurried down the path to the quiddich pitch. She wanted to make sure she had time for a flight before teams took over the pitch for practice. Broomstick in one hand and small bag in the other she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. It was a cool November morning, Kat dawned blue jeans and a warm, red and black plaid, fleece shirt with the two top buttons undone, revealing the black tank-top she wore under it. Skin tight winter gloves covered her hands and her bright red runners completed the look.
Reaching the pitch Kat wasted no time in mounting her broom. Pushing off from the ground Kat flew into the sky only stopping at the teachers box for a short minute to drop her bag on one of the benches before she shot around the pitch. She lapped the field over and over again, sometimes holding the broom with two hand, sometimes with one and a few laps of tempting fate by letting go all together. She zigzagged her way through all the posts before coming to a stop in front of one of the goals. Kat was in her element, she loved to fly, almost as much as she loved peanut butter cookies, but everyone knows that nothing could top a peanut butter cookie. Katrina giggled as she watch a flock of birds fly past her, she loved being in the sky, surrounded by the wonders of life.
She flew a couple more laps around the pitch before flying as high as she dared go and shouting at the top of her lungs, "GOOD MORNING WORLD!" She leaned back and letting go of her broom as she did this, almost losing her balance. Kat jerked forward and re-gripped the handle having decided that falling to her doom was not on the agenda for her day, besides she was getting hungry. She headed back down to the teachers box. Resting her Broom on the bench behind her Kat rummaged through her bag for the breakfast she had packed, 2 hardboiled eggs and a bisect. Smiling as she retrieved them, Kat made herself comfortable before enjoying her meal.
