Well. Once again, Ezra was in the Hospital wing..and it wasn't even completely her fault! Well...mostly. Well...alright, it was totally her fault and the whole thing had been a terrible idea. But come on, who wouldn't want to try and sled down from Ravenclaw Tower to the front door?
In retrospect, she could admit it was an awful, not particularly well thought out plan. But it had been fun. You know...despite the mild concussion and nearly broken wrist. Right now though, she was paying for it. Madame Pomrfrey was making sure of that.
"You're mad! I'm tellin' you, I'm completely fine! Just a bumo on the head and a twingy wrist!" could be heard from the hall outside the hospital wing. With how much Ezra had been in and out of the hospital wing, her and Madame Pomfrey didn't see eye to eye anymore.
"Ms. Winchester, you are not leaving this wing! You've got a concussion. Again. And you've very nearly broken your wrist.Again. I was able to tolerate it when you were on the Quidditch team, but now there is no excuse!"
Ezra fumed. "The reason I wasn't on the Quidditch team this year is because you kept me here!I could be missing loads right now and you won't let me leave! You're loony!"Ezra pouted huffily, crossing her arms and immediately regretting it from the throb in her wrist. But she sucked it up to prove her point.
Now you listen to me Winchester. I have had enough of you're shenannigans. You stay put or I'm going to strap you to that bed until tomorrow!" Pomfrey trilled as she walked away, rubbing her temples.
Ezra waited until she was completely out of sight before she made a mad dash for the hallway. There was no chance she would be stuck in the Hospital Wing again, oh no. In her haste, she turned the corner outside the door and slammed right into someone, knocking her flat on her back.
She lay there for a moment, trying to regain her breath and ignore the karmic irony of the situation.
