( PERSONALITY ) :
Kile is extremely introverted - he’s learned to look at himself and draw energy from assessing his life choices. He’s very introspective and understands actions and consequences in a manner that is far beyond his sixteen years. He’s also extremely imaginative; although he had no musical ability whatsoever, he likes to imagine that he could form a band. This also stems from his extreme dislike of hanging out with his sister when they were younger - he didn’t want to be used as target practice - so he learned to keep himself occupied with his own thoughts. Kile loves the outdoors and strives to spend as much time out there as possible. He finds it relaxing and can often ben found walking around the grounds, or going on hikes through Hogsmeade. He can’t wait to learn how to apparate so that he can go on more trips around the world. He’s extremely laid back, and doesn’t require a lot of maintenance to stay happy. He’s upbeat and thinks himself pretty fun to be around. Loyalty is another strength of his; he’s very true to a cause once he’s stuck on it, or on a person for that matter. Finally, he’s musically inclined, although he doesn’t necessarily have any musical talent as of now. He’s been trying to figure out how to play the drums or the guitar, but so far? No dice for the aspiring musician and outdoors enthusiast.

Negatively, Kile has a bit of a problem staying focused. It’s the reason that he doesn’t do too well in any of his classes. He’s always opting to be outside and enjoying the fresh air, rather than actually paying attention to what people are trying to teach him. He easily frustrates professors and his marks are pretty low in general. In compliment, he’s also unmotivated about his school-work. He could care less about what marks he made, and his parents don’t really care either (They wanted him to play Pro-Quidditch, and he opted not to). He doesn’t apply himself, even when he does go to classes and can be a little bit of the unintentional class-clown. Ki is restless and finds it hard to sit still for long periods of time. So, if he has to do reading for class, he can often be found down by the Black Lake, pacing and trying to get things done to the best of his ability.

( HAIR ) : Dirty blonde hair that he keeps moderately short; he likes to style it so that it all goes on top of his head.
( EYES ) : Bright baby blues! One of his dominant features.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : A strong chin and jaw-line. Dimples on both sides of his cheeks, making him look slightly childish in nature.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Relatively lanky, he doesn’t work out much...Except for the constant hiking. He has strong calves. About 6’2”.
( ATTIRE ) : Kile has an issue with matching; he doesn’t really know what goes together. He can most likely be found in pull-over sweater vests and his pants rolled slightly above his ankles. Ki wears pretty large glasses - they make him self-conscious...so he tends to ‘forget’ them places.

( HISTORY ) : ?Kile McCormack was born in 1960 to Cat and Henry McCormack in their home-town of Doolin, Ireland (Near the Cliffs of Moher). Although his parents were avid Quidditch players for the Pride of Portree in Scotland, upon retirement in their early thirties, they brought their family back to Ireland where they thought their heritage flourished and would furthermore blossom. Growing up with an older sister that was very into their parents’ pastime - Quidditch - Kile found himself at the brunt end of Meaghan’s wrath sometimes. He was used for target practice and often forced to play with her, even when he didn’t want to. However, one day when he was hiding from her he discovered the Cliffs of Moher, a few miles down the beaten path threw County Clare. They were beautiful to Kile, a source of relief and excitement. It was then that the chap fell in love with nature and the outdoors.

At age 11, Kile received his Hogwarts letter and was well on his way to learning about the magical world from the brilliant professors at the school - or at least that was what his parents thought that he was doing. From the beginning, Kile has slid by with barely passing grades and instead found himself more inclined to explore the grounds. He grew acquainted with the outdoors and found hiking in Hogsmeade to be exemplary. He got along with most of his housemates and stayed out of trouble.

As the years passed, he became less and less interested in his parent’s preconceived notion that he was going to become a Quidditch star and started to explore his own options in life. For one, he began to listen to music, which became one of his many escapes. He enjoyed the sounds of drums and tried to teach himself, however, he was never any good and Kile was a horrible singer. He became more and more introverted; although, never shy. He derived his energy from self-introspection and needed to spend a lot of time to himself...that was where the constant hiking and rock-climbing came into play.

This year is just another year for the laid-back Hufflepuff!
