( PERSONALITY ) : Carmen LOVES to have fun. She is quirky and at the same time very awkward. She says things without thinking about them and often makes herself laugh with the things she says. She's very scatter brained and rarely remembers anything. All over the place and even in time, she is a one woman circus, not to mention the fact that's she a clutz. Always jumping into things headfirst, she usually lands in trouble, but somehow always manages to push through it or get herself out of it.

( HISTORY ) : Carmen was born in London, England. Her family is not really wealthy, but they make do with what they have. To her mother, the wizarding world has always been something amazing, therefore developed a "there's nothing you can't do" attitude. If there was magic in the world, then anything was possible. Carmen was raised in the streets playing with all the other children in the area, her father had thought she was a normal human and not a witch until Carmen came home with a butterfly. It had followed her and seemed to understand her. At this time, she was 5 years old, and was not able to speak. Her parents thought she was a mute so she spoke in sign language. The first time she ever spoke was when she was 11. Her first words were, "Well that makes sense" in response to reading a letter she recieved from Hogwarts. Her parents were so baffled and asked why she had never spoken before. Carmen shrugged, she never really did see the need to talk when she could clearly hear her parents thoughts all the time. Her parents however, did not discover that she was gifted in legilemency until their son died from a car accident (Carmen was 13) and they felt/heard every emotion that Carmen went through.

She never thought that she had a gift, she thought that it was normal and that everyone could do it. When her parents sat her down to talk about it, she vowed never to invade anyone's mind ever again and to speak using words. But the gift of telepathy was something as normal to her as breathing and sometimes it's hard for her to get a grip on it. She had to constantly be aware of her mind.
