Rita’s happiest moment of her life was the day she printed her first Hogwart’s Headlines and distributed them through the great hall. It had been a stupid paper, with not much in it, but it was the start of something grand.

    ( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) :
Rita’s worst Memory was the day she got lost in the fog, in the swamp behind her house. She couldn’t see a foot infront of her, and ended up curled under a big willow tree, crying as spiders and frogs wiggled on the ground around her. She was too afraid to go anywhere, imagining there were monsters in the fog ready to reach out and grab her.

Rita Imagines herself in the mirror signing volumes of her most famous works, surrounded in fans and friends who love her.

    ( PERSONALITY ) : Rita Skeeter is an annoying girl. Desperate for attention, Rita is not bellow bullying, twisting other’s relationships, and even just inserting herself into groups where she doesn’t belong just to get some. She loves confrontation and much of what she does is designed to shock and bother others- including her new fancy for Muggle borns which she has adopted just to piss daddy off. She is capable of holding her own in a cat fight, though her limited repertoire of spells forces her to back down once magic is brought into a fight.

The hub of hogwarts information channels revolves around Rita. She is astonishingly adapt at getting her hands on information, including private and secret things, and has no problem deluging her knowledge to anyone and everyone, sometimes at a small price. If you need information on your enemies, or the answers to next weeks quiz, Rita always seems to have the answers. Besides, gossip, Rita has also been known to peddle an assortment of potions, which she is very good at creating. The recent out break of love potion abuse in the school is said to have been because of Rita, though you didn’t hear it from her.

Despite her unloyal behaviour, Rita has a need for company and to fit in and will often trip over herself to smooth misunderstands with friends over. She is a fun girl to party with, and always manages to get friends into the best events. She can be very sweet with those she considers her ‘best-buds’ and even tries her best to keep their information a secret- though she can’t always control her need to gab.

Rita isn’t a very smart girl. She’s just managing to get by in all her classes, besides potions which she excels in. She clings to smarter people and takes most of her notes from them. It’s hard to say if she just doesn’t have the intelligence for school work, or if she’s too busy with her writing to care. She’s started a small, independent school paper (more like a gossip sheet) that she hands out ever Tuesday morning in the great hall during breakfast. Though some of the stories are exaggerations, Rita is an honest girl, and doesn’t lie in them. Any falsities in the stories are purely from lack of knowledge. She does have a way of spinning truths though to make stories bitter and hurtful.



    ( HAIR ) :
Rita’s hair Is long and blond, thought she usually colours it various shades of white and yellow. She prefers crazy up dos and will often pile her head high in lovely and outrageous curls

    ( EYES ) :
Rita’s eyes are green and usually heavy lidded from lack of sleep. Her vision isn’t perfect and she should wear glass, but she refuses, which could result in most of her poor grades.

    ( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) :
Rita has a heavy jawed face, and a bumpy nose. She’s rather plain looking really, and she hides all this with lots and lots of weird and trendy makeup with bright colours and lots of sparkles. She chooses to get rid of her eye brows and draw them on instead, giving her a strange look when she is without her make up.

    ( BODY STRUCTURE ) :
Rita is a lanky girl with little figure. She accents herself with padded bras and shoulder pads to try and give her a more womanly figure. She is almost 5' 10" tall, and 150 lbs that sits mostly around her stomach. Getting little exercise beside dance- Which she can happily do for hours at parties- the girl has little muscle. He skin is pale.

    ( HISTORY ) :
Rita grew up in a strict, pureblood family, to parents who were too busy in their own world to care much about the girl. Rita learned a few key traits because of this. One was to talk quickly and talk loudly, this way people couldn’t interrupt what you were saying and had to listen to you. The other was to embellish stories so that you were interesting and once again, others would have to listen to her. A little later in life, she also learned that embarrassing secrets and hurtful notes about her parents love life could get her things she wanted.

Rita lived in a small wizarding community on the outside of a bog. She had lots of other children to play with her age, and she used her skills in vocal manipulation to get what she wanted from them as well. Her friendship came and went. Friends would fluxuate between besties and enemies with a weeks notice, though she always had ways of patching things up so that no one hated her for long.

Because all of her relationships with others were so in the air, she turned to novels and writing to escape. She would write about solid relationships she would form with imaginary characters who would do whatever she said. Later, as she got older, she would write about everyday occurrences and leave the notes in places for her parents to find in a way of trying to include them in her life. Of course, this did nothing to create any bonds with her parents, so she wrote better stories, twisting things to make them exciting, which worked! She became obsessed with writing! She would pour hours into writing out long stances to try and get her parents attention. She eventually started spreading these writings through the neighbour hood, and gained a small chunk of respect for them from the local kids, which fed her creative fire.

She started hogwarts when she was of age, and continued on with her old tricks, finding they worker well here. However, now that she was so far from her parents, she found it harder and harder to get their attention! She started acting out. It started by letting her grades slip so that she would get concerned letters from them, and eventually became out of control partying and underage drinking just to keep them interested in her. Her latest scheme has been to date Muggle borns and send her father letters of pro muggle born integration speeches which has infuriated him to no end. Rita gets howlers at least once a week, and basks in the fact that for those few moments, all eyes in the hall are on her.

She’s a desperate girl, and she’ll do anything for attention.
