It is his lifeline and one of the few things he really cares for. He works hard to be the best at his job and respects when others do the same in their work.
Rian can be a real sweetheart, he is caring and loving. For him it his hard to trust people though, because how can you tell the difference between people who like him for the fame and fortune and who just like him for Rian. This paranoia led Rian to alcohol in his younger days but he is completely sober now. For four full year and he plans to stay that way.

( HAIR ) : Rian is just a tad bit obsessed with his hair. He is completely shaved on the sides of his head but on top he has enough to form a punk-rockerish mohawk.
( EYES ) : Rian's eyes are a piercing green. They are one of his favorite personal traits.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : Nothing distinguishing, other than some basic facial hair. Typically allowing his five o'clock shadow to fill in.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Rian is lanky guy with some nice muscle tone to him. An athletic guy indeed and it fits his job. He is 5 foot 10 and 165 lbs. Usually.
( ATTIRE ) : When it isn't game time Rian is very simple. Jeans and a beater. He owns about fifteen in black and another fifteen in white. He owns some other simple shirts, mostly in plain colors. He typically keeps his hair very simple and never wears a hat.

( HISTORY ) :
Ryan Samuel Lewis, and dont mention the samuel again, was born in England to a pure-blood family. His father has worked at the ministry since before Rian was born, though to this day Rian couldn't tell you what he did there. Quite honestly he didn't care either, he found his father to be extremely boring. His mother had worked for the Ministry for a bit, as a basic clerk in the judicial department, but as his father moved up and his pay increased she no longer had to work. So she stayed home with her three sons. Rian was always the favorite and he was a big time momma's boy. He loved his mother dearly and always did as she told. It was her that bought him his first broomstick and taught him and his brothers to play Quidditch in the yard.

When Rian received his letter for Hogwarts it was to be expected that he would be in Slytherin, his whole family was and he would continue the tradition. The hat fell on his head for barely five seconds before screaming Slytherin, he smirked as he joined his new friends and was soon to become a house favorite. He never did well in classes, always skating by, but it wasn't because he wasn't smart it was because all he wanted was to be out on the pitch. He didn't make the team his first year but it wasn't for lack of skill, it was a rule that Slytherin refused to break, even for Rian. So in his second year he the top chaser on the House team and would eventually be the captain of the Slytherin team that won four straight Quidditch cups. He was a legend in his time at Hogwarts.

When he left he was drafted into the English Quidditch league, by the last place Ballycastle Bats, in his nine years since then the Bats have become the team to beat, winning two championships and Rian winning MVW three times. He even beat his brother Nikolas in his time with the Chudley Cannons. He was lucky enough to be selected to the National team twice, the first time at twenty years old the English lost in the semi-finals that year but Rian led the team to a Quidditch World Cup win at the age of twenty four. His life has been Quidditch for as long as he could remember and he wouldn't trade it for the world. During his last match a member of the Tutshill Tornadoes blasted a bludger that caught him right in his knee. He finished the match but in severe pain. Rian was fixed up by the doctors at St. Mungos but he still walks with a severe limp. He's not sure when he will get back on the pitch but you can bet it will be soon.
