A Hufflepuff Alumni, Des came out of Hogwarts completely and utterly unprepared to take on the real world. She had been sheltered by her parents all her life - believing that she could do no wrong and that the world was a safe haven for her. After her graduation, Desdemona signed with the Chudley Cannons as a Chaser for their alternate team. That was when she meat Jaxon Harker, the team’s starting beater. He was a brilliant man, but deeply driven by his primal desires, a raging alcoholic, dabbling in illegal drugs, and had a Scottish temper that he was almost famous for. For Des, it was love at first sight, but for Jaxon, it was a game that was meant to be won. It was an abusive relationship, centered around drugs and alcohol and Des became mixed up in all of it. Jaxon introduced her to a whole new crowd of people, people that were calling themselves the Knights of Walpurgis.

Things only seemed to get worse for Des as the years went on. In her long standing relationship, she was at the brute end of Jaxon’s anger. She took beatings day in and day out, making it even harder for her to practice with the team when she was nursing her head wounds. However, one day a scout for Puddlemere United visited training camp and pulled Des aside, offering her a position as the left chaser for their team. Instantly, Des accepted the offer.

Jaxon, instead of being thrilled for his girl friend’s advancements in her professional quidditch career beat the living hell out of Desdemona. He told her that she had to retire because he wouldn’t be shown up by his ‘sl.ut little girlfriend.’

Des, in a state of distress and confusion went out to the bar that she and Jaxon used to frequent. As if by chance, she met up with a few of the Knights of Walpurgis that she had known from a few years back. Only at this point, they were calling themselves Death Eaters. Using that charm that she was so famed for, she managed to persuade the men to take care of dear old Jaxon. A couple of broken arms and a wiped memory later and the Chudley Cannons were looking for a new Chaser for their team and Desdemona was free...or at least, that was what she thought.

Following this little mix-up, Des found herself caught up with the men that called themselves Death Eaters. They said that she owed them and she believed it. Tom Riddle immediately took an interest in her and began having her use her ‘charm’ to help him recruit new Death Eaters in the ranks. Although he doesn’t particularly like her, he sees her usefulness and keeps her around for the sake of entertainment. She’s kept her position with Puddlemere United, because Riddle thought it was good publicity for her to have front-page worthy star status. [/ul][/font][/size][/blockquote]
