( FULL NAME ) : Sadbhb (Sive) Brannagh Parry[/blockquote]
Sadhbh (or Sive, pronounced to rhyme with 'thrive') is a celtic name meaning 'sweet'. In Irish folklore Sadhbh was a fairy princess. Brannagh means 'raven,' a way of saying 'beauty with hair as dark as a raven.'

Dragon Heart-stringAs a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner.
The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.
CherryThis very rare wand wood creates a wand of strange power, most highly prized by the wizarding students of the school of Mahoutokoro in Japan, where those who own cherry wands have special prestige. The Western wand-purchaser should dispel from their minds any notion that the pink blossom of the living tree makes for a frivolous or merely ornamental wand, for cherry wood often makes a wand that possesses truly lethal power, whatever the core, but if teamed with dragon heartstring, the wand ought never to be teamed with a wizard without exceptional self-control and strength of mind.

( LIKES ) : Being outside, in forests, secluded places, with lots of fresh air. Night-time, especially being outside at night, or in places that are normally so crowded during the day. Different weather, extreme cold and snow, lots of sun and heat, wind and rain, mild with a gentle breeze, anything she can feel, with lots of variation throughout the year. Playing Quidditch and flying. Reading, although not excessively, Sive likes to be moving.
( DISLIKES ) : Being cooped up inside, or generally being kept in one place for too long. Being told what to do or how to act. Strict rules and regulations, anything that makes her feel restricted or cage. Being treated like a child. Being judged by other people.
( STRENGTHS ) : Magical strength and power. Emotionally and mentally strong, very tough on the surface and can handle a lot on her own. Very brave, gets scared like everyone else, but would rather jump in blind than admit her fear could get the best of her
( WEAKNESSES ) : A fiery temper which she finds hard to control, quick to anger, can be tempestuous. A self destructive streak which can be stronger than she owns to. Doesn't like to admit when she can't do or handle something, and doesn't like asking for help.
( AMORTENTIA ) : Forests, grass, rain, thunderstorms.
( RIDDIKULUS! ) : Being shunned
( EXPECTO PATRONUM! ) : Getting her Hogwarts Letter
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : Her primary school years
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : Acceptance
( PERSONALITY ) :
Sive is fiercely independent, and always has been. She likes to handle things on her own, and hates feeling like she needs anyone. She never had any close friends growing up, which only fed her independence. Sive likes to be alone and can take care of herself. She hates to feel like she needs (or wants) help with anything. Going hand in hand with her independence is her personal strength; Sive is both emotionally and mentally strong, more so than she is given credit for. She can do anything that needs to be done, get through anything that she needs to get through. Sive can weather any storm, although she doesn't always feel that way. Sive is brave, and refuses to ever let her fear own her. Sometimes she relishes the fear, because it makes her feel more alive. She has a strong sense of justice, and can't stand any kind of unfairness towards anyone (including herself). She has been that way ever since she was a child, although over time she's learned more and more that the world isn't fair at all.
Sive has a hot temper which often gets the better of her. She is fierce when angered, and not someone who's firing line you want to step in. The fact that she is a very passionate person contributes to her temper. Sive is vivacious, spirited and full of life, although she can often come across as serious. She's not a person to be messed with, and that is very clear. She doesn't take shit from people. Sive is confident and secure in herself, and not a person anyone would ever think to try and take advantage of. She doesn't intimidate easily, although she herself can be intimidating. Despite all this Sive can be very kind, can be very playful, and is a genuinely good person, with strong morals, a true Gryffindor.
Sive has a stubborn streak which is not easily broken. She's wary of backing down and bending to other people's wills because she is wary of being manipulated and lied to. She likes to assess situations herself, and decide what to do from that. Sive doesn't trust easily at all. She tends to live in the moment and not think enough about the future, or consequences. She thinks that what is right is right, and the consequences don't (always) change that.

( PARENTS ) :[/blockquote]
Mary Parry - Muggle - 35
Lee Parry - Muggle - 39
( SIBLINGS ) :
Kate Parry - Sister - Muggle - 15
( OTHERS ) : None.
( HISTORY ) :
Sive was born in Ireland to a muggle family. The Parry’s had no magical ties, and never suspected anything of the magical world. Two years after Sive was born her sister, Kate, completed the family.
Sive was the black sheep of the family. Physically, she was very different from them; her mother, father and sister all had blonde hair, whereas Sive's hair was very dark, almost black. They had brown eyes and hers were a piercing blue. Sive never got on with her mother. They would argue all the time and Mary Parry came to resent her eldest daughter. She connected more with her youngest, Kate, and focused her attention on her. Sive's father, Lee, was a reserved man who mostly minded his own business. He didn't get involved in the relationship between his eldest daughter and his wife.
As well as being isolated within her family, Sive was an outcast in school too. Something about her was obviously different. She was very intelligent, and the teachers didn't like her, claiming she 'answered back'. Strange things sometimes happened around Sive, things that she couldn't possibly have made happen, but she seemed to be the cause. The food tray of a child who was picking on her would seem to fly up and hit him in the face; books she wanted appeared next to her; and once, in a very alarming incident, a girl who had been calling her a freak suddenly lost her voice. Sive always stayed quiet when asked about these things. She didn't understand them any better than anyone else.
Sive had a hot temper, and was sometimes difficult, particularly as a child. She didn't like being told what to do without reason. She was unhappy at school, and at home. She spent most of her time alone, which built up a fierce independence, and a tough outer shell. She stopped caring what the other children said and thought about her. She stopped caring about her mother, and her resentment towards her. And although Sive always stood by her sister, and never blamed her, she couldn't help but notice how perfect Kate was compared to her. Kate was quiet, thoughtful, sweet and well liked, shy and endearing, and did well in school. Everything Sive could never be.
Sive received her Hogwarts letter on her 11th Birthday. The letter was hand delivered by a teacher from the school, who sat Sive and her parents down, and explained everything. It all seemed so far-fetched to Sive. It took a few days for the news to really sink in; that she was a witch, not a freak. That there were people like her. That she could leave her house and her school and go to a new school, with people like her. She could get away from her parents and finally belong somewhere. Sive was over the moon.
Her sister, Kate, listened in secret to everything as the teacher from Hogwarts explained that her sister was special. Kate had always felt like she was the special one. She loved her sister, and had never taken her mother’s opinion of her, but now she couldn’t help but feel resentment creeping up inside of her. When Kate turned 11, and no letter from Hogwarts arrived, the resentment truly took hold. Neither Kate, nor her mother, took an interest in Sive’s life in the magical world. The lines were clearly drawn, and Sive’s relationship with her sister would never be the same again.
Sive’s first years at Hogwarts weren’t easy. She didn’t really know how to make friends, never having had any before. She was scared that she would be a freak at Hogwarts too, because she was muggleborn and didn’t know anything about the wizarding world. But she soon found out she had an aptitude for magic. Her intelligence was finally an asset, and she did well in her classes. She learned that her temper was connected to her magic, and getting angry with a wand in her hand could have disastrous consequences. Sive was an immensely powerful witch. When she was a child, born to Muggle parents, that had been a huge problem. When she came to Hogwarts she had had a lot of trouble controlling her magic. She had raw power, but the skill to use it eluded her. It had been scary sometimes. Sive never thought of herself as a particularly skilled witch. She had a lot of difficulty doing the more complex, subtle spells. And when she did a spell in which pure magical energy was a component, it often went wrong; needed a trickle of water? Sive would spout a fountain jet from her wand.
But Sive was very intelligent, and her teachers were very patient. Sive read a lot, taught herself the theory of the spells she was trying to do. She worked hard and slowly began to master the spells she needed for her OWLs and NEWTs.
Sive also learned to make friends in her years at Hogwarts, and enjoys her time there a lot. But still, she doesn’t have any friends who are really close. Sometimes she can get a bit down about this, but whenever she does she picks herself up and redoubles her efforts in mastering whatever spell has been set for them that week, channeling sadness into work.

( ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ) :Sive walked through the practically deserted corridors, towards an old classroom she knew would be empty. It was lunch time, and the sunny weather meant that most of the students had flocked outside, grabbing some food to take with them. Sive didn't feel like joining them. She had grabbed a sandwich from the Great Hall, and had already finished it while she'd been walking.
She hitched her bag more firmly on her shoulder, and let down her long dark hair from its ponytail, shaking it loose. Finally reaching the empty classroom, Sive pushed open the door and walked in. She dropped her bag on the nearest table, and reached in for her wand and her transfiguration book.
Earlier that morning, while eating breakfast, Sive had received something that put her in a bad mood for the rest of the day; a letter from her family. Neither her parents nor her sister wrote to her regularly, and when they did it was clearly out of obligation rather then out of an interest to talk to her. Her family were muggles, and they took no interest in her life at Hogwarts. She had always had a strained relationship with her mother, and little contact with her father. The attention was lavished on her little sister, Kate, but after Sive was accepted into Hogwarts even Kate became distant. It seemed to Sive that there was a great big line with herself on one side, and her mother and sister on the other. Her father pretty much stayed out of everything. So when her family did write, it was out of obligation to their eldest daughter. The letters were packed with small talk and trivialities, the awkwardness almost jumping off the page. And Sive wrote back in much the same way, and that was that for about a month.
These letters always served to ruin Sive's day. When she was feeling bad she worked, to take her mind off it. They had been doing conjuring spells in Transfiguration, and they were horribly tricky. Conjuring something out of nothing was a very hard concept to wrap the mind around. So far Sive had mastered the basics, but her conjured items lacked longevity. Some things (such as food) couldn't be conjured, due either to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration or restrictions put in place by the ministry. Sive was practising by conjuring flowers.
She walked over to the windowsill and sat down, enjoying the sunlight. Her first few attempts faded after a minute or so, but by try number five the lilies she was conjuring seemed to be sticking around. Before long the window sill and the classroom floor were littered with white, fragrant lilies. A few had faded, but most were sticking. She wasn't worried about clearing up; either she'd use a vanishing spell (easy, OWL level stuff) or try her hand at conjuring a vase and some water (which was possible to conjure out of nothing, unlike food).
