Rabastan had more than enough on his mind lately and with the conversation he had with Narcissa, the question of blood purity still arose in his chest. Was it all really worth it? Sure it may be good and all to have a group just like you to fall back on, but were they really your friends in the end? Perhaps he could get these questions answered later. In the mean time he had a very intricate letter to write, and hopefully he would get a response. Finding a quiet corner so no one would even so much as dare look twice at him, he pulled out a sheet of parchment followed closely by a quill and an inkwell.
His actions today may forever reflect on his character in the future, but there was something different about this Lestrange boy, and he would need someone to put him back on the tracks. For if he fell off there would be no knowing what could possibly happen to everything he built up. His walls could come crashing down around him, and that wasn't exactly something Rabastan could handle right now.Sirius Orion Black,
Maybe it is odd that I am writing to you, maybe it is long since over due. As you're aware your cousin Bellatrix is marrying into my family, it's not as if you care, but there is someone who hasn't spoken to you in a very long time and she wishes to see you again. If only for a little bit. I have agreed to be her messenger. There is a trip to Hogsmeade this weekend, but personally she would rather you meet somewhere else, where there are no other students or prying eyes. I've suggested a location in Diagon Alley I believe everyone is familiar with, and no students will be there as they have been preoccupied with the trip to Hogsmeade.
Meet us there at one in the afternoon this Saturday. I suggest you show, if not you may lose all hope in your cousin Mr. Black, she needs you more than you may ever know. Also, do not let your group of hooligans gain knowledge about this meeting, as it could quite possibly be the last thing you do.
-Rabastan L. Lestrange
Looking over the letter he nodded and folded it nicely, slipping it into the breast pocket of his black robes. Rab stood up and looked around, now the hard part, getting this letter to Sirius so that no one else would know he received it. Leaving his corner of the common room he left in search of Sirius Black, something he never thought he would do in his life. Coming up the main level of the school, students were milling about in the shift between classes. Hoping that he would be able to catch the guy off guard and alone would be rather far-fetched, but Rabastan had his ways.
Turning down a different hall, the familiar head of obnoxious hair caught his eye, as well as the others. "Shit." Rab muttered to himself and pulled out the letter with his fine and elegant hand writing sprawling across the parchment. Coming closer to Sirius he noticed the other guys break away from him and just in the blink of a moment, Rab moved faster. Slapping the note into Sirius' hand without anyone but the pair noticing. The Lestrange brother turned his head and nodded his head at Black.
