Tara walked into the great hall shortly after lunch. Pulling her starlet hair from her blue eyes, she looked around the vast room that was almost void of students. She sat at the Gryffindor table, flatting her black dress as she did so. Tara opened her bag, reaching in she found her notebook and textbook. Opening them both to the pages she had been working on, she began to work on her notes before she began to become hungry. She smiled and looked at the table, a small plate of sandwich chips appeared. Grinning, she took a bite of one of the chips but went straight back to work. She's couldn't afford to be behind in her classes and she always felt like she was. Even though she wasn't, this left Tara constantly stressing. "Calm down," she whisper to herself before dragging her hand over the textbook, the words appearing in her notes though her quill wasn't to be seen.
She grabbed the sandwich and took a bite, dripping some of the sauce down her front as she did so. Tara finished eating before she noticed the mess, "Oh bother," she said softly looking for her bag before raising her hand to clean it. She made a sweeping motion and the sauce vanished from her dress but her notes began floating above her. " Oh no!" She exclaimed, standing. " Come down here!" Tara yelled to her notes. Moving her hand down she tried to get the book but every time it got close enough for her to grab it it flue away higher "My wand!" she exclaimed digging into her bag she then remember leaving it on her night stand.
Tara, getting flustered at the book, sighed and tried to calm herself before she remembered where she was. Her face went a colour to match her hair and she looked at the notebook. "Please," she whispered, before the book came flying at her, hitting her in the chest sending her backwards, causing her to trip over the bench and hit her head on the other seat behind her. She sat on the floor tangled in the bench, book pressing into her chest before her bag floated a over her and dumped its contents, including her wand, onto her head. Tears began to fall from her face as her items pooled around her. "This isn't my day," she whimpered hoping this was the last of her bad luck.
