It was a clear cool afternoon and the crisp air filled her lungs. Katrina sighed and headed for the quidditch pitch. It was the place she did her best thinking. What had just conspired threw the girl for the biggest loop of her life. She has finally met a girl that thought the same way she did. The pair spend night together and it was the happiest Kat had ever been. Then., as if it had all been a dream, it ended. Lucy left and Kat was alone again. Part of her wished it had all been a dream, and not the sick joke that everyone was saying it was. Had the whole thing been a prank? Did Lucy know she was leaving the next day? Questions spun through the girls mind as she zipped around the rings. As much as she wished it was just a coincidence, all the facts pointed to later. Lucy hadn't responded to and of Kat's letters, and the whole school seemed to know it.
Then when she finally thought it was all passed, this happened. Narcissa Black confesses attraction...What the hell?! The worst part of it all was that Ka had always like Cissa but her heart couldn't take another blow and she ran. It was the stupidest thing she had ever done in her entire life. She hated herself for it. She wanted more than anything to have done what Cissa wanted. The feeling of the girls hands on her skin was unlike anything she had ever experienced. Fear and lust circled though her head as she took off and started to circle the pitch. Kat wanted to trust Cissa, to believe that someone could honestly like her back, but Lucy had destroyed her trust in people and this was going to take time. Not that it mattered, with the way Kat left, she was sure that Cissa would never talk to her again
Floating over to the center ring she slowed to a stop and climbed onto the structure, sitting, perfectly balanced on the top with her broom on her lap.
