He slammed his back into the alleyway brick wall, panting heavily as he continued to watch the throngs of people shuffling in and out of Hogsmeade storefronts. Orpheus had been watching him closely, making sure that the pair didn’t so much as look at one another: Mikael Erixon and Atlanta...his stupid ass-hat of a sister. He rolled his eyes at the thought. Honestly, she should have been above all the petty Half-blood business. Sure, she wasn’t the typical Vaisey child, but they had standards. They all had standards...but especially her. With the warning that Orpheus and Zeke had sent her, she had no choice but to obey at this point. It was either the life of her precious little half-blood or suit up and get marked.
He was good at his job - watching with a careful eye he had made it his occupation. As a bounty hunter, Orpheus knew how to track people and keep eyes on them at all times, even if he couldn’t be present every hour of every day. It was amazing how much a simple galleon could get him in Hogsmeade in terms of information. He planned on ambushing Erixon and putting the fear of Merlin into him just to make sure that everything still went according to plan. He couldn’t have Atlanta messing around with him when he needed her head in the Death Eater game. She was supposed to be going through processing and there was no way she would join up if it meant that she had to give up the stupid moppy-headed Erixon.
Orpheus always kept his wand out, making sure that he was ready to throw whatever hexes necessary when he needed to. His grip tightened slightly as he moved back into the darkness of the alleyway. The sunset was quickly approaching and he was lose much of his visibility, but he would gain the element of surprise, and sometimes that was all he needed to accomplish tasks.
There he hid, in the alley way, eyes watching The Three Broomsticks with careful diligence until the sun went down. Then he slowly began making his way in the direction of the building. He was focused, eyes never wavering from the scene inside the windows. The butterbeer mugs being clinked together in typical Hogwarts-student fashion. It wasn’t until he felt himself run directly into someone that he realized just how unobservant he was being, “Watch it.” The Bounty Hunter growled as he looked down at his assailant.TAG; OPENNOTES; Come play with Orphy...he’s lots of fun, I swear <3 ;}
