It had been a whirlwind of a month for Mikael Erixon, hell it had been one hell of a seven month stint for the Ravenclaw. He had earned his spot on the Quidditch team, gave up the spot and had just got done cleaning the team's equipment for the fifth day in a row to earn his spot back. Grayson really was the devil sometimes. But it was worth it to get back on the squard, it felt great to be back in the sky amongst his friends and playing the game he loved. Then there was the girl he loved. After meeting Atlanta that day on the lake, he went on the best date of his life, then he disappeared, then he apologized to her and asked for to come to new york, then she never came because her crazy parents broke them up for there own enjoyment, then he professed his love for her and they had quite the magical moment in the Potions cupboard. And a few more blackout worthy moments in the past three weeks. Though the last week he hadnt seen her, even once. Of course his mind was racing because of his family situation. After his father died earlier in the year, his mother and brother had stopped talking to him. His brother blamed him for their dad's death and his mother wanted Timmy to be happy, she trusted that Mik could take care of himself. Plus she was trying to distance herself from the family Mikael didnt even know she had. His cousin Integra, a cousin he didnt know he had, informed him of this just last week. Her father, an evil son of a bitch, had told her to stay away from him and he seemed to be the mastermind behind a lot of evil in the wizarding world. All in all this was a crazy few months for the once quiet, reserved Ravenclaw 6th year but this was life. The way it was supposed to be.
He grabbed his tennis ball out of his trunk and stuck it into his pocket. He took off down the steps and out to the lake, it was one of his favorite places in all the school. The lake had nothing but positive memories for him and it was a place of comfort for him. He had also gotten a chance to leave a message with one of the Hufflepuffs in Lanta's dorm to let her know to meet him here. He knew they both had a free day today and he wanted to spend it with her. The love of his life, the apple of his eye and the rest of those crazy cliches.
He looked around, hoping that she got the message. He really wanted to see her but he resigned himself to the chance that she didnt get the message from her roommate. It was a beautiful spring day and the lake had a soft wind blowing in off the water. He lay flat on his back and grabbed the tennis ball out of his pocket, he spun it on his finger and then threw it high. Catching it with his opposite hand and then flipping it across his chest before throwing it again. This was what he was doing all those months ago, it was amazing how quick things could change.
