The dungeons held more than their fair share of memories that Finn would like to forget. But they weren't his concern right now. He breezed through them, not paying a second glance to all the familiar haunts that still held evidence of his time there. No, right now he had something much better to do than think about things he couldn't change. He was going to see the most important person in his life, and Jor had no idea. It brought a cheesy smile to the Slytherin boys face.
As he made his way to the Hufflepuff entrance, since he had it on good authority Jor was in there, there was a visible bounce in his step. There usually was nowadays.
His hand wrapped around the small box in his pocket, turning it over as he waited outside where the entrance to Hufflepuff was. It wasn't a special one of 'those' kinds of boxes, they were moving fast yes, but not quite that fast. But it was incredibly sentimental, to Finn atleast. He was irish, and with that some things were ingrained into ones head on certain affairs. The thing in question being a small steel band with the claddagh engraved in it. He had spent the better part of a few nights working on it. He would have gone and bought one, but making one meant far more, to him anyway. That and any claddagh ring that could be found was generally of a highly feminine quality.
Finn perked up a few times as people exited, but was quickly disappointed when they were not him. He'd give a few nods here and there, even a wave. Some were met back others were just stared at a moment and the person would rush off. But it didn't bother him.
"Come on, Jor. Anytime now." He mumbled. Sure he could have asked someone to let him in, but surprising him right as he walked out seemed like a much better idea. The only issue was patience, something Finn had never really possessed. Which was becoming quite obvious as he paced about, drumming his fingers in his pocket. Much longer and he'd figure the damn entrance out himself. He just wanted to see him already. He leaned against the wall, clicking his tongue and shifting the dirt on the dusty dungeon floor win his boot.
Then finally, as he entrance shifted and another person came out, it was him. Finn grinned as he walked out. Clearing his throat he stepped away from the wall, walking up behind him.
"Bout time you came out." He smiled.
