Heels had been an awful idea. The big ball gown was a close second. Sure, she guessed she looked pretty. She did clean up fairly well. And she actually looked like a girl girl. It was just too much of a hassle it seemed. She looked around at the other girls on the floor, seeing how normally they walked, as though they wore things like that everyday. She supposed most of them did, more often than she did anyway. She shook her head, completely fine with the fact that she'd likely never touch a pair of heels again unless she felt them incredibly necessary. But atleast she was getting the hang of it. She had managed to walk quite a few feet around without any mishaps.
She looked around a bit, this time really looking for people she knew. It was proving a bit fruitless of an effort though. There was no one she immediately recognized. She thought she had seen a few of her friends, but they were quickly lost in the sea of masks. She shrugged and turned, contemplating picking a random person and striking up some conversation when she heard a voice.
"Help.."
She turned back around, taken by surprise to see Evan, and a rather hopeless mess of a tie around his neck. She gave a smile and starting detangling and untying the fabric without a word. Within a few moments the tie was undone. Ezra readjusted his collar, standing it up and then flattening the tie, then folding it back down. Once that was done, she began to tie it back up proper, thankful she had had to learn because of her brothers lack of patience with his own. She gave it a final tug into place and nodded. "There we are, no more crooked cows." She looked at him a moment, noticing something was missing, and saw the mask in his hand. "May I?" She gestured to it before gently taking it from his hand. It was smooth, and didn't look like a type of mask she had seen before, but the material it was made from was familiar. Her brother had sent her many things of that essence.
She grinned, realizing that it was bone, and admired the workmanship briefly before securing it on his face.
