Zoe meandered the corridors of school with a rucksack that was a little too big and heavy for her small frame. She persevered with it on regardless, just trying to find somewhere to sit. Due to the fact that it was, well, February the common room was extremely busy at all times of day and even into the night. Going outside wasn't much of an option and the library was overflowing as well. However she soon discovered the corridors were nearly empty except for people hurrying off to the aforementioned places. It wasn't that Zoe had much to do, but she felt overwhelmed by people. Everyone was so insistent on hanging out in large groups, and she tended to shy away from such things unless she had some alcohol in her system. She contemplated just sitting in the corridor when she came across the entrance hall. Why sit in a corridor when one could sit on a very wide marble staircase? Zoe sat at the side so that she wouldn't impede anyone hopefully as they went up and down the stairs. She plunked her heavy bag down (she always brought more with her than was necessary) and pulled out her Quidditch book. It was just one that she found in the library that contained almost everything there was to know about the sport. It was rather big and she had to get Teddy to sign it out for her as the librarian wouldn't actually let her sign out books for a while after the fiasco she had caused. Well, she wasn't allowed to take books out before that because she tended to accidentally destroy them.Zoe found her bookmark and began to read. The large book on her lap made her seem even smaller than she already was and from a distance could almost be mistaken for a child reading a normal-sized book. She tucked her flowy hair behind her ear, her eyes focused on the words and diagrams on the page. More than anything, she wished the weather would lighten up. She considered jogging around the castle instead of around the grounds, but that seemed too weird even for her. Hogwarts didn't seem built for someone who thrived for exercise as much as she did.
